6-day salary cut for Kerala govt staff for 5 mths

Brushing aside protests by the opposition and staff, the Kerala cabinet on Wednesday decided to go ahead with a proposal to cut a month’s salary for all government employees drawing more than ₹20,000, including doctors and nurses, in five instalments of six days a month from May to September.
