A Madras Medical College student has won a State-level quiz competition on Awareness on AIDS/HIV, STDs, voluntary blood donation and COVID-19By Express News Service

CHENNAI: A final-year student from the Madras Medical College has won a State-level quiz competition on ‘Awareness on AIDS/HIV, sexually transmitted infections, voluntary blood donation and COVID-19’.

The quiz was conducted by Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society. RGGGH Dean Dr E Theranirajan said that the girl, M Pavithra competed with 9,000 students across the State from various colleges and won the first prize. She received a certificate from the dean in the presence of other doctors.

தனியார் கல்லூரிகள் பணம் வசூலிக்க வகை செய்யும் வகையில் இரண்டாம் கட்ட மருத்துவக்கலந்தாய்வில் முதலில் பல் மருத்துவக் கலந்தாய்வு எனும் புதிய முறையை அரசு செயல்படுத்த முனைவது தனியார் கல்லூரிகளுக்கு ஏஜெண்ட் போல் செயல்படும்போக்கு. முதலில் பொது மருத்துவ கலந்தாய்வை நடத்துக என மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளது.

இதுகுறித்து மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் மாநிலச் செயலாளர் கே.பாலகிருஷ்ணன் இன்று விடுத்துள்ள அறிக்கை வருமாறு:

“தமிழக அரசு மருத்துவ படிப்பிற்கான இரண்டாம் கட்ட கலந்தாய்வு ஜன.5 முதல் துவங்கும் என அறிவித்திருக்கிறது. இந்த கலந்தாய்வு சுயநிதி கல்லூரிகளில் மருத்துவப் படிப்பிற்கான கலந்தாய்வாகும். இந்தியா முழுவதும் பொதுவான நடைமுறை என்பது முதலாவதாக, பொது மருத்துவ (எம்.பி.பி.எஸ்) படிப்புகளுக்கு கலந்தாய்வு நடத்திவிட்டு, அதன்பின்னர் பல் மருத்துவப் படிப்பிற்கு கலந்தாய்வு நடத்தப்படும்.

ஆனால், தமிழக அரசு இப்போது அறிவித்திருப்பது முதலாவதாக, பல் மருத்துவப் படிப்பிற்கு கலந்தாய்வு என்றும், அடுத்ததாக, பொது மருத்துவத்திற்கு (எம்.பி.பி.எஸ்) கலந்தாய்வு என்றும் அறிவித்துள்ளது. இது நடைமுறைக்கு எதிரானது.

மேலும் பல் மருத்துவ படிப்பில் இடம் கிடைத்த ஒருவருக்கு, பொது மருத்துவ படிப்பில் இடம் கிடைத்துவிட்டால், அவர் பொதுமருத்துவ படிப்புக்கு சேர வேண்டுமென்றால் பல்மருத்துவப் படிப்புக்கு எந்த கல்லூரியில் இடம் கிடைத்ததோ அந்த கல்லூரிக்கு 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்கான கட்டணத்தையும் கட்டிவிட்டுத் தான் பொதுமருத்துவ படிப்பில் சேர வேண்டுமென சொல்லப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த நடைமுறை தனியார் பல் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிகளை ஊக்கப்படுத்தும் நடவடிக்கையாக உள்ளது. தமிழக அரசே தனியார் பல் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிகளின் முகவராக செயல்படுவது வன்மையான கண்டனத்திற்குரியது.

இது, தனியார் மருத்துவ கல்லூரிகளின் கட்டண கொள்ளை மட்டுமின்றி, புறவழியாக சேராத மாணவர்களிடம் கொள்ளையடிப்பதற்கான வாய்ப்பையும் அரசே ஏற்படுத்தி கொடுப்பதாகும். இது தமிழக மாணவர்களுக்கு விரோதமானது மட்டுமல்ல, மருத்துவ படிப்பை சீர்குலைக்கும் நடவடிக்கையாகும்.

எனவே, தமிழக அரசு உடனடியாக இந்த கலந்தாய்வை ரத்து செய்துவிட்டு, முதலாவதாக முந்தைய நடைமுறைகளின் படி பொது மருத்துவ (எம்.பி.பி.எஸ்.) படிப்பிற்கான கலந்தாய்வு நடத்தி விட்டு, பின்னர், பல்மருத்துவ கலந்தாய்வை நடத்த வேண்டுமென மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி வலியுறுத்துகிறது”.
