New CJs for Bombay, Orissa, Meghalaya HCs

The Law Ministry has appointed the next Chief Justices of the Bombay, Orissa and Meghalaya High Courts (HC). As Chief Justice B.P. Dharmadhikari of the Bombay HC is to retire on April 28, Justice Dipankar Datta will succeed him. Meghalaya HC Chief Justice Mohammed Rafiq is the next Chief Justice of the Orissa HC. Justice Biswanath Somadder, who is a judge in the Allahabad HC, is the new CJ of the Meghalaya HC.
