இந்த ஆண்டு பொறியியல் கல்லூரி கட்டணம் ரூ 10 ஆயிரம் உயருகிறது: சட்டசபையில் அமைச்சர் தகவல்

  தமிழ்நாட்டில் ஏற்கனவே இருந்ததை விட இந்த ஆண்டு பொறியியல் கல்லூரி கட்டணம் ரூ. 10 ஆயிரம் உயரும் என கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் கே.பி. அன்பழகன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

சென்னை:

சட்டசபையில் இன்று கேள்வி நேரத்தின் போது வில்லிவாக்கம் எம்.எல்.ஏ. ரங்கநாதன் பேசுகையில், இந்த ஆண்டு பொறியியல் கல்வி கட்டணம் உயருவதாக தகவல் வருகிறதே உண்மைய? தரம் இல்லாத பொறியியல் கல்லூரி எத்தனை இயங்குகிறது என்று கேள்வி எழுப்பினார்.

இதற்கு உயர் கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் கே.பி. அன்பழகன் கூறியதாவது:-

2016-2017-ம் ஆண்டில் பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளில் 2லட்சத்து 77ஆயிரத்து 61 இடங்களில் 1 லட்சத்து 50 ஆயிரத்து 599 மாணவர்கள் தான் சேர்ந்து உள்ளனர். பொறியியல் கல்லூரிகளின் தரத்தை அரசு நிர்ணயிப்பதில்லை. மாணவர்களே கல்லூரிகளை தேர்வு செய்கிறார்கள். தகுதியான ஆசிரியர்கள், கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகள் எந்தெந்த கல்லூரிகளில் உள்ளது, இல்லை என்பதைத்தான் அரசு சுட்டிக்காட்டுகிறது. கல்லூரி கட்டணத்தை பொறுத்த வரை 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒரு முறை உயர்த்த வேண்டும். கடந்த 2012-13-ம் ஆண்டு கல்லூரி கல்வி கட்டணம் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

அதன் பிறகு 5 ஆண்டாக கட்டணம் நிர்ணயம் செய்யப்படவில்லை. இதற்காக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட கிருஷ்ணா கமிட்டி கல்வி கட்டணத்தை நிர்ணயம் செய்கிறார்கள். இதில் 3 வகையாக எக்ஸ், ஒய்,இசட் கல்லூரிகள் என வகைப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். தொடக்க பிரிவுக்கு கல்வி கட்டணம் ரூ. 1,58,300, ஒய் பிரிவுக்கு ரூ. 1,50,500, இசட் பிரிவுக்கு ரூ. 1,44,900 என பரிந்துரை செய்துள்ளனர். அதற்கு மிகாமல் நிர்ணயம் செய்யக்கூடாது என்று கூறியுள்ளனர்.

தமிழ்நாட்டில் ஏற்கனவே இருந்ததை விட ரூ. 10 ஆயிரம் கூடுதலாக வசூலிக்க அரசுக்கு பரிந்துரை செய்துள்ளனர். கவுன்சிலிங் வருபவர்களுக்கு ரூ. 40 ஆயிரத்தில் இருந்து ரூ. 50 ஆயிரம் ஆகவும், நிர்வாக ஒதுக்கீட்டில் சேருபவர்களுக்கு ரூ. 70 ஆயிரத்தில் இருந்து ரூ.80 ஆயிரமாகவும் உயர்த்த சொல்லி உள்ளனர். அதை அரசு பரிசீலித்து வருகிறது.

ரூ.1.12 கோடியில் சூப்பர்பைக் வாங்கிய ஒரே இந்தியர்

இந்தியாவின் விலை உயர்ந்த சூப்பர்பைக், டுகாட்டி சூப்பர்லெகெரா 1299 இந்தியா வந்துள்ளது. இந்தியாவில் ரூ.1.12 கோடியில் விற்பனை செய்யப்படும் லிமிட்டெட் எடிஷன் பைக்கினை ஒரே ஒரு இந்தியர் வாங்கியுள்ளார்.

இந்தியாவின் விலை உயர்ந்த சூப்பர்பைக்- டுகாட்டி சூப்பர்லெகெரா 1299 மாடலினை இந்தியர் ஒருவர் வாங்கியுள்ளார். உலகம் முழுக்க லிமிட்டெட் எடிஷன் மாடலாக வெளியிடப்பட்ட டுகாட்டி சூப்பர்லெகெரா 1299 விக்ரம் ஓபெராய் வாங்கியுள்ளார். 

விக்ரம் ஒபராய் ஏற்கனவே டுகாட்டி 1299 பேனிகேல் எஸ், டுகாட்டி 916 மற்றும் டுகாட்டி 1098 மாடல்களை வைத்துள்ளார். நாட்டின் விலை உயர்ந்த சூப்பர்பைக்கினை டுகாட்டி இந்தியா தலைமை நிர்வாகி ரவி அவலுர் ஓபெராயிடம் ஒப்படைத்தார். 

சர்வதேச சந்தையில் மொத்தம் 500 யுனிட்களை மட்டுமே தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில் அனைத்து யூனிட்களும் ஏற்கனவே விற்றுத் தீர்ந்துவிட்டது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 

டுகாட்டி 1299 சூப்பர்லெகெரா 215 Bhp திறன் கொண்டு சுமார் 156 கிலோ எடையில், இதுவரை தயாரிக்கப்பட்டதில் அதிக திறன் கொண்ட ட்வின்-சிலிண்டரை கொண்டுள்ளது. இத்தகைய செயல்திறனை இயக்க முழுமையான எலெக்ட்ரானிக்ஸ் பேக்கேஜ் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் டுகாட்டி டிராக்ஷன் கண்ட்ரோல் இவோ (DTC EVO), டுகாட்டி ஸ்லைடு கண்ட்ரோல் (DSC) வசதிகளை கொண்டுள்ளது. 

மேலும் டுகாட்டி பவர் லான்ச் (DPL) கொண்ட முதல் டுகாட்டி சூப்பர் பைக் ஆகும். இத்துடன் முந்தைய மாடல்களில் வழங்கப்பட்ட இன்ஜின் பிரேக் கண்ட்ரோல் வசதி இந்த மாடலிலும் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இத்தகைய செயல்திறன் கொண்ட மோட்டார் சைக்கிளை கட்டுக்குள் வைக்க காலிபரேட்டெட் போஷ் கார்னரிங் ABS சிஸ்டம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 1299 சூப்பர்லெகெரா வாங்கும் போது டிராக் கிட் ஒன்றும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இதில் டுகாட்டி செயல்திறன் ஊக்குவிக்கும் பாகங்கள், டைட்டானியம் அக்ராபோவிக் ரேசிங் எக்சாஸ்ட், ரேசிங் ஸ்கிரீன், பிளேட் ஹோல்டர் ரிமுவல் கிட் மற்றும் மிரர் ரீபிளேஸ்மென்ட் பிளக் உள்ளிட்டவை இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. 

ஓபெராய் குழும ஒட்டல்ளின் தலைமை நிர்வாகிகளில் ஒருவரான விக்ரம் ஒபராய், 'உலகின் தலைசிறந்த மோட்டார் சைக்கிள்களை டுகாட்டி உருவாக்கி வருகிறது, மேலும் டுகாட்டி வாடிக்கையாளராக இருப்பது பெருமையாக உள்ளது.' என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

உலகம் முழுக்க 500 யுனிட்கள் மட்டுமே தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட 1299 சூப்பர்லெகெரா, உலகின் தலைசிறந்த பிரத்தியேக மோட்டார் சைக்கிள் ஆகும். சூப்பர்பைக் வார்த்தைக்கான அர்த்தத்தை மாற்றியமைக்கும் வகையில் ஈடு இணையில்லா தொழில்நுட்பம் கொண்டுள்ளது. இதனை விக்ரமிற்கு வழங்குவதில் பெருமையாக உணர்கிறோம் என டுகாட்டி நிறுவன இந்திய நிர்வாக தலைவர் ரவி அவலுர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். 

 Only qualified docs can sign lab reports: MCI

A pathology report can only be signed by a qualified doctor registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI). The MCI in it’s latest order has specified that “All reports/letters have to be signed/countersigned by persons registered with MCI/State Councils”. MCI issued the statement in response to a three-year-old query from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), which is a constituent board of Quality Council of India.

It wanted to know if M.Sc-PhD candidates not registered with the MCI can sign lab reports. This would include experts with PhD degrees in medical microbiology, medical biochemistry, life sciences, applied biology, cytogenetics and biotechnology.

“The ethics committee considered the matter during its meetings on February 6 and 7, and their decision was placed before Executive Committee for approval on April 11,” said Dr Parul Goel, Deputy Secretary, MCI. The order impacts pathological laboratories across India.

Following their decision, from June 14, 2017, labs report can only be signed by qualified doctors and not by M.Sc-PhD fellows. “This means reports signed by non-doctors after the said date will be illegal in the eyes of law,” said Pune-based advocate Rohit Erande. Meanwhile, opinion of the health ministry is being sought on the matter. Malpractices involving lab technicians signing pathology reports are rife in India.

“In many cases, approving signatures on a wrong analysis result in false positives of dengue or malaria and have led to wrong treatment,” said Dr Rajesh Mane of Maharashtra Association of Practicing Pathologists and Microbiologists (MAPPM), an umbrella body of qualified pathologists.

Boy denied hall ticket for upcoming semester exams.

Chennai: A final year engineering student committed suicide at his residence in Madambakkam on Tuesday night allegedly over harassment by his head of department (HoD) for the last six months. A suicide note has been recovered from his house in which the boy accused his college staff for abetting his suicide.

B. Hemant Chandran (21) was found hanging by his mother Sheela when she returned home after work around 7. 30 pm. He was pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering at Vengaivasal near Medavakkam.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the boy had pointed out a mistake by one of the professors during class about six months ago, which triggered the beginning of the harassment.

The professor, head of a department, allegedly began targeting the student selectively so much so that the latter told his parents that he would discontinue from college. The boy's mother even met with college management and sought to solve the issue.

Meanwhile, the student learnt on Tuesday that he has been denied hall ticket for the upcoming semester exams following which he took the extreme step. The deceased is the only son of the couple, Babu-Sheela. Babu works as a tailor while his wife works as a stenographer at a private firm.
On Tuesday, when his parents were away at work, Hemant Kumar hanged himself to death using a nylon rope. Selayur Police rushed to the scene and moved his body to Chromepet government general hospital for post-mortem. In a single page suicide note addressed to his parents, the boy accused his HoD of targeting him with spite. "I wished to study and complete college. But, I couldn't bring myself to continue in this college. As challenged by the HoD, he is making my life difficult in college. Forgive me, mother!" read an excerpt from the suicide note.

Meanwhile, the college declared holiday on Wednesday fearing backlash from students and heavy police security was deployed outside the college. Selayur police have registered a case and are investigating.

அடுத்த புரட்சிக்குத் தயாராகிவிட்டது ரிலையன்ஸ் ஜியோ: ரூ.500க்கு 4ஜி போன்!

ரிலையன்ஸ் ஜியோ சிம் கார்டுகளுக்கு ஒரே ஒரு கட்டுப்பாடு மட்டுமே இருந்தது. அதுதான் 4ஜி தொழில்நுட்பம் கொண்ட செல்போன்களில் மட்டுமே இதனை பயன்படுத்த முடியும். தற்பொழுது அந்த தடைக்கல்லையும் உடைத்தெறியும் வகையில் ரூ.500க்கு 4ஜி வசதி கொண்ட செல்போனை அறிமுகம் செய்ய உள்ளதாக செய்திகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.

முதலில் ரூ.999 முதல் ரூ.1,500 என்ற அளவில் விற்பனை செய்ய திட்டமிடப்பட்டிருந்த இந்த செல்போனை, ரூ.500க்கு விற்க முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

விலை உயர்ந்த ஸ்மார்ட் போன்களில் மட்டுமே இருக்கும் 4ஜி வசதி, இனி ரூ.500 விலை கொண்ட செல்போனில் கிடைக்கும் என்றால் நிச்சயம் இது அடுத்த புரட்சிதான். 

கடந்த செப்டம்பர் மாதம் கொண்டு வரப்பட்ட ஜியோ சிம்கார்டினால், தொலைத்தொடர்பில் புரட்சி ஏற்பட்டது போல, தற்போது செல்போன் உற்பத்தியில் அடுத்த புரட்சி உருவாகும் வாய்ப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த மாத இறுதியில் இந்த செல்போன் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்படும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
