HC seeks govt reply over promotion of college students

High court has sought reply from state government within 14 days in a petition seeking general promotion for students studying in higher educational institutes across the state.

A division bench of Justice SC Sharma and Justice Virendra Singh sought reply while issuing notices to respondents in the petition of a final year law student of DAVV, Yash Sharma. Sharma through his counsel Paritosh Srivastava told the court that some students are in their home towns, travelling in Covid tomes will make situation worse. TNN
