HC seeks reply to plea on Jamia VC appointment

Delhi High Court on Friday sought response from the Centre, CVC and Jamia Millia Islamia on a plea challenging the appointment of the varsity’s current VC Najma Akhtar. The court issued notices to UGC and VC and asked the authorities to file their replies while listing the matter on September 22. PTI
