சென்னை : சென்னை பூவிருந்தவல்லி அருகே கரையான்சாவடி பகுதியில் அரசு பஸ், 2 கடைகள் மற்றும் வீடுகளில் புகுந்து விபத்து ஏற்பட்டது. தி.நகரில் இருந்து ஸ்ரீபெரும்புத்தூர் நோக்கி சென்ற தடம் எண் 544 கொண்ட பஸ் விபரத்திற்குள்ளானது. 

விபத்தில் படுகாயம் அடைந்த ஐயப்பன் என்பவர் கீழ்பாக்கம் அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இந்த விபத்து தொடர்பாக பஸ் டிரைவர் மற்றும் கன்டெக்டரிடம் பூவிருந்தவல்லி போக்குவரத்து புலனாய்வு போலீசார் விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

உயர் மருத்துவ படிப்பு 12ல் துவங்குது கவுன்சிலிங்

சென்னை: 'சூப்பர் ஸ்பெஷாலிட்டி' எனப்படும், உயர் சிறப்பு முதுநிலை மருத்துவ படிப்புகளுக்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை கவுன்சிலிங், வரும், 12ம் தேதி துவங்குகிறது.

நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லுாரிகளில், சூப்பர் ஸ்பெஷாலிட்டி எனப்படும், உயர் சிறப்பு முதுநிலை மருத்துவ படிப்புகளான, டி.எம்., - எம்.சி.எச்.,க்கு, 1,215 இடங்கள் உள்ளன. இதில், தமிழகத்தில், 192 இடங்கள் உள்ளன. இதற்காக நடந்த, 'நீட்' தேர்வில், 6,709 பேர் தகுதி பெற்றுள்ளனர். மாநிலத்திற்கென இருந்த, 50 சதவீத இட ஒதுக்கீடு ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டு, அனைத்து இடங்களுக்கும், மத்திய அரசே, கவுன்சிலிங் நடத்துகிறது. 12ம் தேதி, ஆன்லைன் முறையில் துவங்கும் கவுன்சிலிங் குறித்த முழு அட்டவணை, பின்னர் அறிவிக்கப்படும் என, மத்திய அரசின், மருத்துவ கவுன்சிலிங் கமிட்டி தெரிவித்துள்ளது. மேலும், விபரங்களுக்கு, www.mcc.nic.in, http://mohfw.nic.in ஆகிய இணையதளங்களை தொடர்ந்து பார்வையிட, மத்திய சுகாதாரத் துறை அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது.

சேலம் : சேலம் மாவட்டத்தில் அரசு மருத்துவமனைகளில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வரும் 100 பேருக்கு டெங்கு அறிகுறி இருப்பதாக சுகாதாரத்துறை அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். சேலம் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள 12 அரசு மருத்துவமனைகளில் இதுவரை 557 பேர் காய்ச்சல் காரணமாக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Foreign funds: RGUHS gets notice for not filing returns

Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) in Karnataka are among 5,922 NGOs and institutions that could lose their licence to receive foreign funds as they have not filed annual returns for three or more than three years.

Show-cause notices were issued to these NGOs and institutions last Saturday, asking why they have not filed their annual income and expenditure records despite repeated notices.

Under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), the licence would be cancelled if the institutions do not file their annual income and expenditure records.

The Delhi College of Engineering, currently known as Delhi Technological University, Young Men's Christian Association and Punjabi University, Patiala are also in the list besides over a dozen from Karnataka.

Some of the NGOs and institutions that find their name in the list include Karnataka Chinmaya Trust, Karnataka Rural Development Service Centre, Karnataka Holy Cross Sister's Society, Voluntary Health Association of Karnataka, Karnataka Navodaya Ashram and Andhra Karnataka Dalita Varga Sangha.

Others are Society for Service to Voluntary Agencies of Karnataka, Karnataka Development Projects, The Karnataka Network For People Living With HIV/AIDS, Karnataka Rural Employment Generating Association, Karnataka Labour Education Trust, Northern Karnataka Rural Development Society, Uttara Karnataka Rajya Nirgatika Mahileyaru Mattu, Devadasiyara Samaja Seva Sangh, University Women’s Association Of Bangalore, Mysore Educational Social and Cultural Organisation and Mysore Diocesan Education Society among others.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said as a one-time measure, all NGOs were given an opportunity for one month to file their missing annual returns by June 14 without paying any penalty.

Email and SMS alerts were also sent to them regularly for one month beginning mid-May.

“However, in spite of sufficient and adequate notice, it has been observed that 5,922 associations have not uploaded their annual returns for three or more than three years within the stipulated time given in the notice,” the circular said.

Salary revised for Tasmac employees

The Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited (Tasmac) has decided to revise the monthly consolidated pay of employees working at its retail vending shops at a board meeting that was held recently. Supervisors will now be paid Rs. 9,500 per month, while salesmen will be paid Rs. 7,500 per month. Currently, Supervisors earn Rs. 7,500 per month and salesmen get Rs. 5,600 per month. The salary of assistant salesmen has been increased to Rs. 6,500 per month from Rs. 4,200 a month.

திறப்பு விழாவுக்கு காத்திருக்கும் படப்பை ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலைய புதிய கட்டடம்

கட்டி முடிக்கப்பட்டு 6 மாதங்களாகியும் திறக்கப்படாமல் உள்ள படப்பை ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையக் கட்டடம்.


படப்பை ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்துக்காக ரூ. 60 லட்சத்தில் கட்டப்பட்ட புதிய கட்டடம் ஆறு மாதங்களாக திறக்கப்படாமல் உள்ளது.
குன்றத்தூர் ஒன்றியத்துக்கு உள்பட்ட படப்பை பகுதியில் கடந்த 2009-ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையம் திறக்கப்பட்டது.
அப்போது ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்துக்கு கட்டடம் ஏதும் இல்லாததால் பயன்படுத்த முடியாது என கைவிடப்பட்ட பழைய தச்சுக் கூடத்தில் தாற்காலிகமாக செயல்பட தொடங்கியது.

போதுமான இடவசதி இல்லாத இந்த ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்தில் படப்பை, அதன் சுற்றுவட்டார பகுதிகளைச் சேர்ந்த சுமார் 20-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிராம மக்கள் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகின்றனர்.

இந் நிலையில், படப்பை ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையத்துக்கு வண்டலூர்- வாலாஜாபாத் சாலையில், அரசு பெண்கள் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி அருகில் ரூ. 60 லட்சம் செலவில் புதிய கட்டடம் கட்டும் பணி கடந்த ஆண்டு தொடங்கியது. இப்பணி முடிவடைந்து சுமார் 6 மாதங்களாகியும் இன்னும் திறக்கப்படவில்லை. தற்போதும் பழைய கட்டிடத்திலேயே இடநெருக்கடியுடன் படப்பை ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலையம் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது.

இதனால் ஆரம்ப சுகாதார நிலைய ஊழியர்களும், நோயாளிகள் மற்றும் கர்ப்பிணிகளும் மிகுந்த சிரமத்திற்குள்ளாகி வருகின்றனர்.
எனவே புதிய கட்டடத்தை விரைவில் திறக்க மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என பொதுமக்களும், சமூக ஆர்வலர்களும் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளனர்.
