NEET PG 2018

National Board of examinations clarified the marking scheme of NEET PG 2018. The Public notice reads as under Kind attention:

Applicant candidates of NEET- PG 2018

A. Pursuant to the declaration of NEET-PG 2018 result, queries are being received at NBE  regarding whether the questions marked for review have been evaluated or not for  the generation of the result.
B. The following marking scheme has been used for generating the score of every  candidate:

C. It is hereby clarified that the questions marked for review have been evaluated as per  the above scheme for generation of the score.

D. In the instructions which were part of the question paper of NEET-PG 2018 it was  explicitly mentioned that the questions which have been marked for review shall be
evaluated.

Supreme court ripped off Section 4(3) of Screening Tests Regulations

In a landmark judgment, supreme court in Writ Petition (C) No.650/2017, ROHIT NARESH AGARWAL vs Medical council of India in which IA was filed by one Dr Malhar Gautam, Was heard by Justice Arun Mishra and Justice Amitava Roy and ripped off the controversial Section 4 (3) of Screening test Regulations of MCI.

The Order reads as “We do not find any error in the decision rendered by the High Court  in declaring regulation 4(3) of the Screening Test Regulations, 2002 as ultra vires. As we have upheld the judgment of the High Court, the writ petition filed questioning the same stands allowed. The appeals filed by the Medical Council of India are dismissed”

Section 4 (3) of Screening test Regulations reads as “He/She has studied for the medical course at the same institute located abroad for the entire duration of the course from where he/she has
obtained the degree.” The following shall be added in Clause 4(3) in terms of Notification

published on 16.01.2016 in the Gazette of India. “Provided in cases where Central Government is informed of condition of war, civil unrest, rebellion, internal war or any such situation wherein life of Indian citizen is in distress and such information has been received through the Indian Embassy in that country then the Council shall relax the requirement of obtaining medical education: from the same institute located abroad in respect of which communication has been received from the Indian Embassy in that country.”

The implication of this Judgement will be that the students who have studied their MBBS from two different geographical locations of same University (Different campuses) will become eligible to write MCI Screening examination. Before this Judgement, these students were not even allowed to write FMGE/ MCI screening examination. It’s important to note that many foreign universities have different campuses and part of studies in different campus is very common outside India, especially in European Union and South East Asia

வருமானவரி விதிப்பு முறையில் நிலையான கழிவுத் திட்டம் கடந்த 1974-ம் ஆண்டுஅறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டது. இதன்படி, மருத்துவம் மற்றும் போக்குவரத்துக்காக செலவிடப்பட்ட ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தொகைக்கு நிலையான கழிவு என்ற அடிப்படையில் சம்பளதாரர்கள் வருமானவரி விலக்கு பெறலாம்.
எனினும், இந்தத் திட்டத்தை 2006-ல் அப்போதைய நிதி அமைச்சர் ப.சிதம்பரம் ரத்து செய்தார். இந்நிலையில் நிலையான கழிவுத் திட்டம் வரும் நிதியாண்டில் மீண்டும் அமல்படுத்தப்படும் என்றும் இதன்கீழ் ரூ.40 ஆயிரம் வரை வரி விலக்கு பெறலாம் என்றும் மத்திய நிதியமைச்சர் அருண்ஜேட்லி தனது பட்ஜெட் உரையில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இதுகுறித்து மத்திய நேரடி வரிகள் வாரியத் தலைவர் சுஷில்சந்திரா நேற்று கூறும்போது, "சம்பளதாரர்கள், ஓய்வூதியம் பெறுவோர் நிலையான கழிவுத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ், போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் மருத்துவச் செலவை குறிப்பிட்டு ரூ.40 ஆயிரம் வரை வரி விலக்கு பெறலாம். எனினும், இதற்கு ஆதாரமாக எந்தவித ஆவணத்தையோ ரசீதையோ தாக்கல் செய்யத் தேவையில்லை. மேலும் வரி ஏய்ப்பு செய்பவர்களையும் கறுப்பு பணம் பதுக்குபவர்களையும் கண்டறிய போதுமான தொழில்நுட்பம் வருமான வரித்துறையிடம் உள்ளது. இதுபோன்ற செயலில் ஈடுபடுவோர் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும்" என்றார்.

'ஐ போனுக்கு பதிலாக சலவை சோப்': பிரபல ஆன்லைன் வர்த்தக நிறுவனம் மீது புகார்

மும்பையைச் சேர்ந்த பொறியாளர் ஒருவர், பிரபல ஆன்லைன் வர்த்தக நிறுவனத்தில் ஆர்டர் செய்த ஐ -போன் 8-க்கு பதிலாக சலவை சோப்புக் கட்டியை பெற்ற சம்பவம் நடந்துள்ளது.

மும்பையைச் சேர்ந்த 26 வயதான, தாப்ரெஜ் மெகபூப் பிரபல ஆன்லைன் வர்த்தக நிறுவனத்திடம் 15-20% தள்ளுபடியில் 55,000 ரூபாய்க்கு ஒரே தொகையில் ஐபோன் 8-ஐ புக் செய்திருக்கிறார்.

இந்த நிலையில் கடந்த ஜனவரி 22-ம் தேதி அவர் ஆர்டர் செய்த ஐபோன் 8 தனியார் ஆன்லைன் நிறுவனத்திடமிருந்து டெலிவரி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதனை உற்சாகத்துடன் பிரித்த தாப்ரெஜ்ஜுக்கு பெரும் அதிர்ச்சி காத்திருந்தது.

ஐ போன் 8 அட்டை பெட்டியின் உள்ளே சலவை சோப்பு இருந்ததை கண்டு அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்திருக்கிறார் தாப்ரெஜ்.

இது தொடர்பாக மும்பை காவல் நிலையத்தில் பிரபல தனியார் ஆன்லைன் நிறுவனம் தன்னை மோசடி செய்துள்ளதாக புகார் அளித்திருக்கிறார் தாப்ரெஜ். அவரின் புகாரை ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட மும்பை போலீஸார் இந்த மோசடி குறித்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

இந்தச் சம்பவம் சமூக வலைதளங்களில் வைரலாக பகிரப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

நாடு முழுவதும் மருத்துவப் பட்டமேற்படிப்புக்கான நீட் தேர்வில் செய்யூர் மருத்துவர் மாநில அளவில் முதலிடம் பிடித்துள் ளார்.

கடலூர் மாவட்டம், பண்ருட்டி அருகே உள்ள கொஞ்சிக்குப்பம் பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்தவர் ராமச்சந்திரன். இவர் செய்யூரில் வட்டாட்சியராக உள்ளார்.இவரது மகன் மதன், 2017-ல் மதுரை அரசு மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியில் மருத்துவப் பட்டப்படிப்பை முடித்தார்.

இப்படிப்பை முடித்தவுடன் எய்ம்ஸ் மருத்துவமனைக்கான நுழைவுத்தேர்வு எழுதி, மருத்து வப் பட்டமேற்படிப்பில் (பொது மருத்துவம்) 15 நாட்களுக்கு முன்புதான் சேர்ந்தார். ஏற்கெ னவே நடைபெற்ற மருத்துவ பட்ட மேற்படிப்புக்கான நீட் தேர்வையும் எழுதியிருந்தார். இதில் 1200-க்கும் 925 மதிப்பெண் பெற்று மாநில அளவில் முதலி டம் பிடித்துள்ளார்.

இதுகுறித்து மதன் கூறியதாவது: பட்டமேற்படிப்பு நீட் தேர்வு முடிவு கடந்த வாரமே வெளியானது. முறைப்படி தேர்வுக் குழு வெளியிட்ட பட்டியலில்தான் மாநிலஅளவில் நான் முதலிடம் பெற் றது உறுதியானது என்றார்.

After fare hike, bus pass delay trouble commuters

CHENNAI: As a double-whammy to bus commuters, the MTC has delayed issuing the Rs 1,000 monthly passes. While usually the monthly bus passes are issued between 1st and 20th of every month, notices at the MTC counters on Thursday said the passes would be issued only from February 7.

The monthly pass was a relief to commuters as it entitles them to take any number of trips in all categories of buses, except the air-conditioned. When announcing the recent bus fare hikes, the government had said that bus passes would be continued. But the delay in issuing passes has made the daily travel costly.
The staff at a counter at the Broadway terminus said the delay was caused by the anticipated hike in the price of the bus passes too. The staff said the official announcement on the revised price of the bus pass would be made soon.

“As per the revised bus fare, it would cost me around Rs 2,000 per month for my travel to work and other places. So I opt for the bus pass,” said M P Salva, who commutes every day between Thirumangalam and Velachery for work. She was also told by a bus conductor that the price of the monthly pass would be increased.

Many daily wagers and roadside vendors, who are dependent on the monthly bus pass, would be the worst affected by this delay in issuing the monthly bus passes, said V Kanniammal, who sells flowers.

“Everyday I travel from Central to Koyambedu and back. The ordinary buses do not come often, forcing us to board either the deluxe or express. For the next five days I have to spend Rs 300,” lamented Kanniammal.
