புதுடில்லி : குஜராத்தில் உள்ள தனியார் இன்ஜினியரிங் கல்லுாரிகளில் மாணவர் சேர்க்கை குறைந்து வருகிறது. மாணவர்களை கவர 'ஸ்கூட்டர், லேப்டாப்' என சலுகைகளை அள்ளித் தரும் முயற்சியில் அந்த கல்லுாரிகள் இறங்கியுள்ளன.

இன்ஜினியரிங் படிப்புகளுக்கான கவுன்சிலிங் நாடு முழுவதும் நடந்து வருகிறது. நுாற்றுக்கணக்கான புதுப்புது பாடப்பிரிவுகள் வந்துகொண்டுள்ளன. தொழில்நுட்ப படிப்பு எப்பொழுதும் கைகொடுக்கும் என்பதால் எதைப்படித்தால் வேலைவாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும் என்று மாணவர்கள் முடிவு செய்து அதற்கேற்ற பாடப்பிரிவுகளை சிறந்த கல்லுாரிகளில் தேர்வு செய்கின்றனர்.

நாட்டில் மொத்தமுள்ள 3,291 இன்ஜினியரிங் கல்லுாரிகளில் 15.5 லட்சம் இடங்கள் உள்ளன. குஜராத் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள இன்ஜினியரிங் கல்லுாரிகளில் மாணவர்கள் சேர்க்கை சில ஆண்டுகளாக குறைவாக உள்ளது. இந்த ஆண்டு மாணவர் சேர்க்கையிலும் இதே நிலை தொடருவதாக குஜராத் கல்வியாளர்கள் கவலை தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். இதையடுத்து மாணவர்களை கவர



குஜராத் மாநில தனியார் கல்லுாரிகள் பல வித்தியாசமான முயற்சிகளில் இறங்கியுள்ளன.

இது குறித்து குஜராத் மாநிலம் ஆமதாபாதில் இருந்து வெளியாகும் 'மிரர்' பத்திரிகை வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்தியில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது: குஜராத் மாநிலத்தில் இன்ஜினியரிங் பாடத்துக்கான முதல் கட்ட மாணவர் சேர்க்கை முடிவடைந்து உள்ளது. இதில் மொத்தமுள்ள 55 ஆயிரத்து 422 இடங்களில் 34 ஆயிரத்து 642 இடங்கள் காலியாகவே உள்ளன. இதனால் தனியார் கல்லுாரி நிர்வாகத்தினர் அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்துள்ளனர்.

இந்த நிலைமையை சமாளிக்க பல்வேறு புதுப் புது திட்டங்களை அறிவித்து மாணவர்களை கவர முடிவு செய்துள்ளனர். முதல் கட்டமாக கல்வி உதவித்தொகை என்ற பெயரில் கல்வி கட்டணத்தில் பெரும் அளவில் தள்ளுபடி தர முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

முதல் 'செமஸ்டருக்கான' கட்டணம் தள்ளுபடி, கல்லுாரி பேருந்து மற்றும் விடுதிக்கு பாதி கட்டணம், இலவச 'லேப்டாப்' போன்ற கவர்ச்சிகரமான அறிவிப்புகளை குஜராத் மாநில தனியார் கல்லுாரி நிர்வாகத்தினர் அள்ளி வீசியுள்ளனர்.

இதன் உச்சகட்டமாக 'நான்கு ஆண்டு கல்வி கட்டணத்தையும் ஒரே தவணையில் செலுத்தும் மாணவர்களுக்கு நான்காம் ஆண்டு படிப்பு முடிந்ததும் இரு சக்கர வாகனம் இலவசமாக வழங்கப்படும்' என பல கல்லுாரிகள் அறிவித்துள்ளன.

சில கல்லுாரிகள் 'ஆண்டுக்கு 2,500 ரூபாய் கல்வி கட்டணம் செலுத்தினால் போதும்' என ஆடித் தள்ளுபடி போன்ற சலுகை அறிவிப்பை வெளியிட்டுள்ளன.

மேலும் சில கல்லுாரிகள் மாணவர்களை சேர்த்து விட 'கமிஷன் ஏஜன்ட்'களை நியமித்துள்ளன. 'ஒரு மாணவனை சேர்த்துவிட்டால் 10 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் கமிஷன் தரப்படும்' என அறிவித்துள்ளன. இவ்வாறு அந்த செய்தியில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

போதிய மாணவர் இல்லாமல் கல்லுாரியை நடத்தி நஷ்டமடைவதை விட இது போன்ற சலுகை மற்றும் இலவச அறிவிப்புகளை வெளியிட்டு மாணவர் சேர்க்கையை அதிகரிக்கும் நிலைக்கு குஜராத் கல்லுாரிகள் தள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கல்வியாளர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. கட்சியை, தேர்தல் கமிஷன் அங்கீகரித்ததை அடுத்து, நேற்று சென்னையில் உள்ள அலுவலகத்தில், கட்சி கொடியை, கமல் ஏற்றி வைத்தார்.

பின், அலுவலகத்தின் வெளியே கூடியிருந்த தொண்டர்கள் மத்தியில், கட்சியின் புதிய நிர்வாகிகள் பட்டியலை, கமல் வெளியிட்டார். கட்சியின் உயர்மட்டக்குழு கலைக்கப்பட்டு, அதில் உறுப்பினர்களாக இருந்த, ஸ்ரீப்ரியா, கமீலா நாசர் உள்ளிட்ட,11 பேரும், செயற்குழு உறுப்பினர்களாக தொடர்வர் என, அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

கட்சியின் தலைவராக கமல் செயல்படுகிறார். கட்சியின் துணைத்தலைவராக, பேராசிரியர் கு.ஞானசம்பந்தன்,

பொதுச்செயலராக, அருணாச்சலம், பொருளாளராக, சுரேஷ் ஆகியோர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளனர்.

கிழக்கு, வடக்கு, மேற்கு, தெற்கு என, நான்கு மண்டலங்களாக, கட்சியின் அமைப்பு பிரிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. சட்டசபை தொகுதி வாரியாக, கட்சி நிர்வாகிகள் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளனர். 'மண்டல பொறுப்பாளர்கள், துறை வாரியான நிர்வாகிகள் விரைவில் அறிவிக்கப்படுவர்' என, கமல் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

சென்னை, ஆழ்வார்பேட்டை எல்டாம்ஸ் சாலை சந்திப்பில் உள்ள, மக்கள் நீதி மைய அலுவலகத்தின் வெளியே, கட்சி நிர்வாகிகளை அறிவிக்கும் நிகழ்ச்சி நடந்தது. கட்சியினர் ஏராளமாக கூடியதால், அப்பகுதியில் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் ஏற்பட்டது. நிகழ்ச்சி முடிவில், போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் ஏற்பட்டதற்காக, கமல் மன்னிப்பு கோரினார். நிகழ்ச்சியின் போது, தொண்டர்கள், 'ஆழ்வார்பேட்டை ஆண்டவர்' என்ற அடைமொழியுடன், கமலை வாழ்த்தி கோஷம் போட்டனர்.

மும்பை: உடல்நலக்குறைவு காரணமாக மும்பை மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள, பழம் பெரும் பாலிவுட் நடிகர் திலீப் குமார்,95, உடல் நிலை கவலைக்கிடமாக உள்ளதாக தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது.
1944-களில் இந்தி திரை உலகில் கொடிகட்டி பறந்தவர் பாலிவுட் நடிகர் திலீப் குமார், 95, வயது முதுமை காரணமாக கடந்த இரண்டு வருடங்களாக நோய்வாய்பட்டு வீட்டிலேயே சிகிச்சை பெற்று வந்தார். உடல் நலக்குறைவால் கடந்த ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்டில் மும்பை லீலாவதி மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டார். பின்னர் சிறுநீரக கோளாறு காரணமாக ஐ.சி.யூ.,விற்கு மாற்றப்பட்டார். தற்போது அவரது உடல்நிலை மிகவும் கவலைக்கிடமாக உள்ளதாக தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது.இது குறித்து திலீப்குமாரின் மனைவி சயிராபானு டுவிட்டரில் கூறுகையில், திலிப் குமாருக்காக பிரார்த்தனை செய்யுங்கள் என ரசிகர்களுக்கு கூறியுள்ளார்.

Chennai: Following the order of Madurai Bench of Madras high court to award additional 196 marks as grace marks due to wrong translation of questions in Tamil to all Tamil medium students who appeared for Neet this year, the selection committee of Director of Medical Education announced cancellation of the management quota counselling on Thursday.

The counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS course for 2018-19 session in self-financing medical and dental colleges under management quota was scheduled from July 16, 2018, to July 18, 2018, which now remains cancelled. "The intimation regarding the reschedule of counseling for management quota will be hosted at a later date on the official websites," said an official release.


The bench ordered Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to draw a fresh list of eligible candidates in two weeks and then start the admission process again. Since the order, the state authorities and Director of Medical Education have not indicated of any action on the already completed first phase of counselling for MBBS /BDS admissions for state quota.

"The second phase counseling for MBBS/BDS admissions will be rescheduled after further course of action is decided. We are awaiting the decision of CBSE to draw the fresh list or any further action regarding the high court's order. The state government authorities have also not made any decision on the already completed admissions, awaiting CBSE's decision," said a senior official from the selection committee of Director of Medical Education.

Erode: The Erode SP, Mr Sakthi Ganesan on Thursday was all praise for the honesty of a six-year-old class II boy of a government school near here for scrupulously handing over a cash bundle worth over Rs.50,000 he found on the street to the police here.

Mohammed Yasin, son of Batcha and Abruth Begum from Nandavana Thottam near Chinnasemur in Erode district and student of government middle school in Chinnasemur, found the cash in front of the school premises on Wednesday afternoon.

CHENNAI: The selection committee of the Directorate of Medical Education has cancelled counselling for MBBS and BDS courses in self-financing colleges for management seats that was originally scheduled from July 16 to 18.

In a notification on Thursday, the committee said “As per the order of Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, counselling for MBBS and BDS courses 2018-2019 session in self-financing medical and dental colleges under management quota which was scheduled on 16,17,18 July 2018 stands cancelled. The intimation regarding the reschedule of counselling for management quota will be hosted at a later date in the official websites”.

Meanwhile, Medical Counselling Committee of Directorate General of Health Services also kept All India Quota (AIQ) counselling under suspension. In its notification, the MCC said, “In compliance of the directives of the High Court, Madurai Bench, online undergraduate counselling for the session 2018, including the declaration of second round result will be kept in abeyance till further orders. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the websites for latest updates.”

The results for AIQ second round counselling was to be declared on Thursday. This caused confusion among the students who were preparing to attend classes. The State selection committee had conducted first phase of counselling from July 1 to 7 for government colleges and government seats in private ones.
The Madurai Bench of Madras High Court had directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to grant 196 grace marks for students who took the NEET in Tamil this year citing translation errors in 49 of 180 questions.

The court had directed the CBSE to publish a fresh list of qualified candidates within two weeks and has stayed all current proceedings which are being undertaken based on the present candidate list.
