Special trains to Velankanni announced
This is to clear the extra rush of passengers
The Southern Railway has announced that the following special trains would be operated to and from Velankanni to clear the extra rush:
Train No.07060 Secunderabad – Velankanni special train will leave Secunderabad at 7.30 a.m. on September 05 and reach Velankanni at 9.35 a.m. the next day.
Train No. 07059 Velankanni – Secunderabad special train will leave Velankanni at 6.45 p.m. on September 9 and reach Secunderabad at 8.05 p.m. the next day.
The trains will stop at Secunderabad, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Villupuram, Tirupadanpuliyur, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
Train No.07061 Kakinada – Velankanni special train will leave Kakinada at 9 a.m. on September 5 and reach Velankanni at 9.35 a.m. the next day.
Train No. 07062 Velankanni – Kakinada special train will leave Velankanni at 6.45 p.m. on September 9 and reach Kakinada at 6 p.m. the next day.
The trains will stop at Kakinada Town, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Villupuram, Tirupadanpuliyur, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
Train No.07413 Velankanni - Vijayawada special train will leave Velankanni at 12.50 p.m. on September 6 and reach Vijayawada at 7.30 a.m. the next day.
Train No. 07412 Vijayawada - Velankanni special train will leave Vijayawada at 3.10 p.m. on September 8 and reach Velankanni at 12.25 p.m. the next day.
The trains will stop at Velankanni, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Chidambaram, Cuddalore Port, Tirupadanpuliyur, Villupuram, Katpadi, Renigunta Gudur, Nellore, Kavali, Ongole, Chirala, Bapatla, Nidubrolu and Tenali.
Train No.00108 Velankanni – Sawantwadi Road special fare special train will leave Velankanni at 8.15 p.m. on August 28 and September 4.
The train will reach Sawantwadi Road at 10.25 p.m. the next day.
Train No.00107 Sawantwadi Road - Velankanni special fare special train will leave Sawantwadi Road at 10.25 p.m. on August 27 and September 3.
The train will reach Velankanni at 1 p.m. the next day.
Train No.00110 Velankanni – Sawantwadi Road special fare special train will leave Velankanni at 11.45 p.m. on September 8. The train will reach Sawantwadi Road at 12.40 a.m. on September 10.
Train No.00109 Sawantwadi Road - Velankanni special fare special train will leave Sawantwadi Road at 9.30 a.m. on September 6 and reach Velankanni at 1 p.m. the next day, according to a Southern Railway press release.
