85-year-old man made to wait till 9 p.m. at Collectorate

Bojarajan (85), who had come to the Collectorate to submit petition for Old Age Pension (OAP) during the grievance day redress meeting on Monday, was made to wait till 9 p.m.
The officials in charge at the section had refused to accept the petition and directed him to wait.
Based on their direction, he waited till 9 p.m. but there was no response from the authorities concerned.
On noticing his plight, a few scribes brought him food and had informed his family members, who rushed to the Collectorate and picked up him up late at night.
