NEET: private firm charged by police

The Delhi police crime branch has filed a charge sheet against Prometric Testing Pvt. Ltd., the company hired by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to conduct the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for postgraduate medical admissions, after uncovering an inter-State racket that tampered with the computers used for the common entrance test. According to the police, computers at examination centres managed by Prometric allowed ‘solvers’ outside to select the correct answers for questions.
