NOTICE Urgent Attention Colleges/ Candidates:
Candidates participating for Round-2 of PG Counselling 2021 are informed that many PG/ PG DNB colleges who have received LoPs from NMC/ NBE after Round-1 of counselling started are still contributing seats for Round-2 of counselling.
In this regard, candidates are advised to take note of the following:
1. The New Registration/ Payment Facility for Round-2 of counselling will begin on 04.02.2022.
2. The Choice Filling facility will be available from 07.02.2022
3. The revised schedule for PG Counselling 2022 will be uploaded on MCC website shortly.
4. Please stay in touch with the MCC website for further updates on counselling.

NOTICE
It is for the information to all candidates that the Final Result of Round-1 of NEET UG Counselling 2021 has been revised and a fresh result is now available.
The result which was uploaded at 03:00 P.M of 02.02.2022 may be treated as ‘Null & Void’. Candidates are advised to make note of the following points before proceeding for Reporting of Round-1 of UG Counselling 2021:
1. The Fresh revised Result for Round-1 has been uploaded on MCC website.
2. In the fresh revised result of Round-1 there may be some changes in the allotment status of candidates than the earlier result. Hence, candidates are advised to download fresh Provisional Allotment Letters and then proceed for reporting as per the college allotted to them in the revised result. Any Provisional Allotment Letters which were earlier downloaded will be treated as ‘Null & Void’
. 3. The facility for downloading of Fresh Provisional Allotment Letters and Reporting module of Round-1 will be available by 10:00 A.M of 03.02.2022.
4. Candidates are requested to proceed for Physical/ Online Reporting (EJoining) to the allotted college as per schedule after downloading their Provisional Allotment Letters from MCC website.
5. The candidates can contact their allotted college directly for queries related to documents to be submitted at the time of Physical/ Online Reporting. Also, candidates should confirm Admission Schedule from the allotted college before proceeding for Reporting of Round-1 along with all required original documents.
6. The revised Schedule for UG Counselling 2021 will be uploaded on MCC website shortly. Candidates are advised to stay in touch with MCC website for updates on UG counselling 2021.

NOTICE Urgent Attention Candidates/ Colleges:
Keeping in view, the prevailing adverse situation of COVID pandemic, MCC/ MoHFW has decided to allow candidates of UG Counselling 2021 for HYBRID MODE OF REPORTING i.e Candidates who have been allotted seats by MCC in UG Counselling 2021 can report in both ONLINE/ OFFLINE mode at the allotted college. In reference to above the Candidates/ Colleges may note following points:
1. Candidates who are opting for Online Reporting/ E-joining can join the allotted college by sending a confirmatory email regarding acceptance of seat and uploading scanned copies of relevant documents as mentioned in Information Bulletin. Hence, the verification of documents of such candidates will be done by the college through scanned copies. However, kindly note that candidates who want to give willingness for Upgradation for Round-2 while retaining Round-1 seat, have to ‘Report physically’ at the allotted institute to confirm their admission.
2. Candidates reporting ‘Online’ or doing ‘E-joining’ should ensure that they receive ‘Admission Letter’ generated online, through MCC portal by the college otherwise their admission will be considered ‘Null & Void’.
3. Email Id/ Phone Number of the Principal/ Nodal Officer of college for Online Reporting should be displayed on respective college websites.
4. Candidates can pay the requisite fees to the allotted college through their authorized portal to be notified in advance by the college authorities on the college website.
5. All admissions made online will be deemed Provisional, and will be considered Final only on verification of documents at the time of Physical Joining and Medical Fitness at the college. 6. The candidates who join their seat of Round-1 and later want to resign the same can do so till 04:00 P.M of 16th February, 2022 after which they will be considered as part of Round-2 and same rules will apply as applicable for Round- 2 of counselling. Candidates should ensure that the Withdrawal/ Resignation Letter should be generated ‘online’ by the college through portal provided by MCC. Resignation taken in offline mode will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
7. Candidates who want to avail ‘Free Exit’ option in Round-1 need not Report at the allotted college.
8. By default the candidates should Report physically at the allotted college. ‘Online Reporting’ or ‘E-joining’ should be opted only in case of COVID protocol or in case the candidate himself/ herself is suffering from Covid, with prior consent of allotted college.

Hyderabad: The Telangana high court, while refusing to stop physical classes entirely, on Thursday told the state to keep open the option of online classes in schools for parents unwilling to send students.
Advocate general BS Prasad assured the court that online classes for government school students would be made available through their T-SAT channel.
Resuming the hearing in Covid PILs on Thursday, a bench also said that it was not in favour of any restrictions on livelihoods of poor people.
“We are for Covid-appropriate behaviour, not blanket restrictions,” the bench said. Senior counsel Ravi Chander said: “The third wave is not yet over. A squad must inspect schools and ensure social distance nor ms are followed. ”
Another counsel, K Pavan Kumar, pointed out that the state’s health bulletins have stopped referring to age groups. “The column on children is conspicuous by its absence,” he said.
When Kumar complained about state not setting up adequate children’s hospitals, the bench pointed out that government’s efforts to set up such facilities were often being blocked.
Counsel Prabhakar complained about the absence of social distance norms at the ongoing Ramanuja millennium celebrations and said that things would not be any different at the Medaram Jatara either.
A grievance was also raised by advocate Zainab Khan saying that the state has not been paying compensation to the kin of those who died of Covid. The bench directed AG to file an affidavit on this and posted thecase toFebruary 28.

New Delhi: Over a year after launching an initiative to digitise all its files, records and even regular correspondences, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) claimed to have been successful in reducing use of paper by up to 90%.
“The initiative is a part of the eoffice concept. Around 1,500 officials/staff are being provided digital signatures. More staff members will be given the facility as per requirement,” said an NDMC official.
The e-office concept has been adopted as per the Centre’s direction to curb use of paper and promote electronic communication.
“So far, 42,500 new electronic files have been opened in the e-office, in which a total of about 8. 9lakh new digital green sheets were created. Apart from this, over 2 lakh new correspondence sheets with other departments/offices have been opened in the e-office for the convenience of staff/officials. By doing this, 27 lakh correspondence pages have been saved so far,” said the official.
The council claimed to have prooffices for the implementation of the green concept. “The number of other electronic equipment has also been increased to reduce the use of paper. Almost all departments now have facilities for100% e-files,” stated NDMC.
Till now, more than 12,000 personal files have been scanned. “Apart from personal and new files, we are digitising old data and files too. We have so far scanned 52,000 files that had 1. 5 crore pages and the process is still on,” said the official.
In phase-2, service books of all 10,000 regular employees of NDMC will be digitised.

New Delhi: Doctors, nurses and paramedical staff of East Delhi Municipal Corporationrun hospitals continued their protest on Thursday as well over non-payment of salaries for four months.
Meanwhile, an order issued by the medical superintendent of Swami Dayanand Hospital, Dr Rajni Khedwal, stated that services of all senior and junior resident doctors would be considered terminated from February 4 and fresh interviews would be conducted accordingly. The order also stated that all Diplomate of National Board (DNB) residents and contractual doctors would be marked absent.
“We all were there in the protest, none of us went for our duties. We have also asked the administration to speak on our behalf because they are too part of the hospital. Maybe the matter will be resolved tomor row. Unless we get a concrete statement regarding salary, we will continue the protest,”said Dr Atul Jain, president of the hospital’s resident doctors’ association.
Meanwhile, EDMC commissioner Vikas Anand said that no order had been issued regarding the termination/ suspension of the striking doctors’ services so far. The termination order is only for the DNB workers and for the rest of the medical staff, it is based on ‘no work no pay’ as per the SC rule, he clarified.
“The salaries will be provided at the earliest. We have a very good team of doctors at SwamiDayanand Hospital. The only request is that they should join back and resume services,” said the commissioner.
Anand also said that the salaries for the months of February and March would be paid on time. “EDMC is going through a financial crisis and even in such difficult times, the corporation issensitive towards the interests of its employees. Their due arrears will be paid in the month of Mayas per the availabilityof the funds,” he added.

New Delhi: A PhD student from Amity University was allegedly duped of Rs 24 lakh by two men who posed as astrologers and told her she will get good luck and fortune. The accused told the woman that she would have to sacrifice a human and also perform puja and rituals.
The woman was searching for astrologers online and got a number. She called and one of the accused picked up, who then asked her to start performing rituals. It was only when she was told to sacrifice a human that she realised she had been duped.
The two men have been arrested by the cops. They said that their families are also into astrology, but due to loss of business during Covid, they started duping people in order to get more money. Police have seized seven debit cards, cheque books and mobile phones used in the commission of the crime.
The accused have been identified as Tanish and Gaurav, and were arrested from Rajasthan and Punjab. The woman had complained that due to some personal issues in her life and career, she was feeling depressed and suffering from anxiety, which led her to search for astrologers. “She was surfing the web, where she came across a page operating in the name of Amrita Devi, and through the contact details on the page, she contacted the fraudsters,who were pretending to be tantriks capable of solving all problems.
Thecomplainant discussed her issues with the accused in the hope of finding a solution through any ritual. The accused assured her that the rituals costing Rs 24 lakh will solve her problems,” said KPS Malhotra, DCP (cyber cell).
He added, “She agreed for the rituals and gave payments in installments. Gradually, she was duped of Rs 24 lakh. The complainant didn’t find any relief and asked for the reason. The accused told her that the God/Devtas are asking for a human sacrifice, or more rituals, which would cost Rs 20 lakh more. ”
The accused also revealed that they are cousins.
