The High Commission of India in London is hosting six leading UK universities at the Indian High Commission in London to celebrate the expansion of higher education ties under the NEP 2020.
The institutions that have signed Letters of Intent (LoI) to establish campuses in India include: University of Southampton (UoS), University of Liverpool, University of York, Newcastle University, Coventry University, and Queen’s University Belfast. The UoS will become the first foreign varsity to officially open its doors in India.
As a global top 100 research-intensive university and a founding member of the Russell Group, UoS is the first British University to establish a campus in India. Institutions are to explore a range of collaboration opportunities, from joint research programmes and dual degree offerings to the creation of innovation campuses, faculty and student exchanges, and the development of new campuses.
