சென்னை:  காரைக்கால்-கொச்சுவேலி இடையே ஜூலை 20, 27-ல் சிறப்பு கட்டண சிறப்பு ரயில் இயக்கப்படும் என்று தெற்கு ரயில்வே அறிவித்துள்ளது.

இதுகுறித்து வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ள அறிவிப்பில் மேலும் தெரிவித்துள்ளதாவது: -  காரைக்கால்-கொச்சுவேலி இடையே ஜூலை 20, 27-ல் சிறப்பு கட்டண சிறப்பு ரயில் இயக்கப்படும். அதேபோல் கொச்சுவேலி-காரைக்கால் இடையே ஜூலை 19, 26-ல்  சிறப்பு கட்டண சிறப்பு ரயில் இயக்கப்படும்.

இது நாகை, திருவாரூர், திருச்சி, மதுரை, நெல்லை, நாகர்கோவில் மற்றும் திருவனந்தபுரம் வழியாக இயக்கப்படும் என்று தெற்கு ரயில்வே அறிவித்துள்ளது.

பராமரிப்புப் பணிகள் காரணமாக திருவல்லிக்கேணி, ஜெ.ஜெ.நகர், ஈஞ்சம்பாக்கம் ஆகிய பகுதிகளில் வியாழக்கிழமை (ஜூலை 13) மின்தடை ஏற்படும் என தமிழ்நாடு மின்சார வாரியம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.

மின்தடை ஏற்படும் இடங்கள் (காலை 9 முதல் மாலை 4 மணி வரை):

மத்திய அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு குடும்ப கட்டுப்பாடு சலுகை தொகை ரத்து: மத்திய அரசு அதிரடி!!

புதுடெல்லி: குடும்ப கட்டுப்பாடு செய்து கொள்ளும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் சலுகைப்படியை ரத்து செய்ய மத்திய அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.மத்திய நிதி ஆணையத்தின் 7வது ஊதிய அறிக்கையை ஆய்வு செய்து, மத்திய அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் பல்வேறு சலுகைகளை திருத்தி அமைப்பதற்காக நிதித்துறை செயலாளர் அசோக் லவசா தலைமையில் சலுகைகள் கமிட்டியை (சிஓஏ) அமைத்து மத்திய அரசு உத்தரவிட்டு இருந்தது. 

மேற்படி  கமிட்டியினர், 196 சலுகைகள் மீது நடவடிக்கைஎடுக்கலாம் என மத்திய அரசுக்கு கடந்த ஏப்ரல் மாதம் 27ல் அறிக்கை சமர்ப்பித்தனர்.அதில், மக்கள் தொகை கட்டுப்பாடு குறித்த ‘அளவான, குடும்பம், திட்டமிட்ட குடும்பம்’ எனும் மத்திய அரசின் கொள்கை நிறைவேறி இருப்பதால், குடும்ப கட்டுப்பாடு செய்து கொள்ளும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் சலுகையை ரத்து செய்து விடலாம் எனவும் சிஓஏ பரிந்துரை செய்திருந்தது. சிஓஏ பரிந்துரைகள் மீது விவாதங்கள் மேற்கொண்ட பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான மத்திய அமைச்சரவை, ஜூன் மாதம் 28ம் தேதி தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றியது.

6ம் தேதி அன்று அரசு முறைப்படியான அறிவிக்கை வெளியானது. அறிவிக்கைப்படி, குடும்ப கட்டுப்பாடு செய்து கொள்ளும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு,பணி அந்தஸ்துக்கு ஏற்றபடி வழங்கப்பட்டு வந்த ரூ.210 முதல் ரூ.1,000 வரையிலான சலுகை ரத்து செய்யப்படுகிறது.

ரூ.399-க்கு 84 ஜிபி டேட்டா: ஜியோவின் தன் தனாதன் ஆஃபர்..!



ஜியோ வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட ‘தன் தனாதன் ஆஃபர்’ மேலும் அதிக சலுகைகளோடு வேலிடிட்டியும் நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
ரிலையன்ஸ் ஜியோ பிரீபெய்டு மற்றும் போஸ்ட்பெய்டு வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு அந்நிறுவனம் ‘தன் தனாதன் ஆபர்’ என்ற சலுகையை வழங்கிவந்தது. அந்த ஆபர் இப்போது மேலும் சலுகைகளோடு வேலிடிட்டியும் நீட்டிப்பு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. ரூ.349, ரூ.399, ரூ.509 ஆகிய பிளான்களுக்கு அதிகமான 4ஜி டேட்டா வழங்கப்படுகிறது.ரூ.349-க்கு ரீசார்ஜ் செய்தால் 20 ஜிபி 4ஜி டேட்டா கிடைக்கும். இந்த பிளானுக்கு 56 நாட்கள் வேலிடிட்டி உள்ளது. இதற்கு தினசரி பயன்பாட்டு அளவு கிடையாது.

20 ஜிபி காலியானாலும் 128 கேபிபிஎஸ் வேகத்தில் டேட்டாவைப் பயன்படுத்த முடியும். ரூ.399-க்கு ரீசார்ஜ் செய்தால் தினமும் 1 ஜிபி டேட்டாவை பயன்படுத்த முடியும். இந்த பிளானில் மொத்தமாக 84 ஜிபி டேட்டாவைப் பயன்படுத்தலாம். இதில் வாய்ஸ் கால், எஸ்.எம்.எஸ் அனைத்தும் இலவசம். ரூ.509-க்கு ரீசார்ஜ் செய்தால் 56 நாள் வேலிடிட்டியுடன் 112 ஜிபி பயன்படுத்தலாம். இதைவிட அதிக தொகைகளில் உள்ள பிளான்களில் எந்த மாற்றமும் இல்லை.

The case was filed challenging appointment of P.P. Chellathurai

The Madras High Court Bench here on Tuesday directed a writ petitioner who had filed a case challenging the appointment of P.P. Chellathurai as Vice-Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University to include the university’s Chancellor (Governor) as well as the Registrar as respondents to the case by Wednesday.

Justices K.K. Sasidharan and G.R. Swaminathan pointed out to petitioner’s counsel G. Prabhu Rajadurai that only the Chancellor, being the appointing authority, and the university Registrar would be in a better position to place the records based on which Mr. Chellathurai was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor.

M. Lionel Antony Raj, a former student of the university and now the district secretary of People’s Rights Protection Centre, a private body, had filed the petition seeking a writ of quo warranto directing the Vice-Chancellor to show cause under what authority he was holding the office.
He also sought to quash the records related to the appointment.

The petitioner had alleged that Mr. Chellathurai had not fulfilled the requirement of being a professor for a minimum of 10 years and that his tenure as Director of Department of Youth Welfare could not be construed as an academic assignment though his request to redesignate him as professor was accepted by the Academic Council.

However, contesting the claim, Senior Counsel Isaac Mohanlal, representing Mr. Chellathurai, stated that it is sufficient if a candidate for the post of Vice-Chancellor had either been a professor or held an equivalent post for 10 years.

He also said that a writ of quo warranto could be issued only if there were statutory violations.
In his affidavit, the petitioner had alleged that the VC also suppressed the fact of having been one of the accused in a criminal case registered by the police in connection with brutal attack unleashed on a professor of the same university during the tenure of former Vice-Chancellor Kalyani Mathivanan in May 2014.

He contended that the Chancellor as well as a search committee constituted for recommending names for the post of Vice-Chancellor would not have considered Mr. Chellathurai’s name if the pending criminal case had been brought to their notice.
