ராணுவத்தினருக்கு நிறைய சலுகைகள் வேண்டும்

இந்திய நாட்டின் ஜனத்தொகை தற்போது, 134 கோடியே 37 லட்சத்து 58 ஆயிரத்து 943 ஆகும். இவ்வளவு மக்கள் தொகையும் உள்நாட்டில் போலீசார் அளிக்கும் பாதுகாப்பையும், எல்லைப்புறங்களில் ராணுவத்தினர் அளிக்கும் பாதுகாப்பையும் சார்ந்தே இருக்கிறது.

நீதிநெறி விளக்கத்தில் ‘குமரகுருபரர் சுவாமிகள்’ சொன்னது போல,

‘மெய்வருத்தம் பாரார் பசிநோக்கார் கண்துஞ்சார்
எவ்வெவர் தீமையும் மேற்கொள்ளார் – செவ்வி
அருமையும் பாரார் அவமதிப்பும் கொள்ளார்
கருமமே கண்ணாயினார்.’ என்ற பாடலுக்கேற்ப, ராணுவத்தினர் பணியாற்றி வருகிறார்கள். இரவு–பகலாக பசியையும் பொருட்படுத்தாமல், வடக்கே எல்லைப்புறங் களில் ராணுவத்தினரும், வான்வெளி பாதுகாப்பில் விமானப்படையினரும், கடலில் கப்பல்படையினரும் நமக்கு பாதுகாப்பு அளித்துவருகிறார்கள். இந்திய ராணு வத்தில் 41 ஆயிரம் அதிகாரிகளும், 11 லட்சத்து 32 ஆயிரம் ராணுவ வீரர்களும் பணியாற்றுகிறார்கள். விமானப்படையில் 12 ஆயிரம் அதிகாரிகளும், 1 லட்சத்து 30 ஆயிரம் படை வீரர்களும் பணியாற்றுகிறார்கள். கடற்படையில் 9 ஆயிரம் அதிகாரிகளும், 52 ஆயிரம் மாலுமிகளும் உள்ளனர். இதுதவிர கடலோர காவல்படையில் 1,400 அதிகாரிகளும், 10 ஆயிரம் மாலுமிகளும் உள்ளனர். இவர்கள் அனை வருடைய பணியும் மிகவும் மகத்தானது. இவர்கள் இரவு– பகல் பார்ப்பதில்லை. மற்ற எல்லா பணிகளிலும் சனி, ஞாயிறு விடுமுறை உண்டு. அரசு விடுமுறை நாட்கள் உண்டு. தீபாவளி, பொங்கல், கிறிஸ்துமஸ், ரம்ஜான் போன்ற பண்டிகைகளின்போது எல்லோருமே தங்கள் குடும்பத்தோடு குதூகலமாக கொண்டாடுவார்கள். ஆனால், பனிபடர்ந்த அடர்ந்த மலைப்பகுதி காடுகளி லுள்ள எல்லைப்புறங்களில் கையில் துப்பாக்கியை ஏந்திக் கொண்டு பணியாற்றும் ராணுவவீரர்கள் அவ்வாறு குடும்பத்தோடு கொண்டாடமுடிவதில்லை. குடும்பத்தை பிரிந்து தன்னந்தனியாக தவித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.

அதனால்தான் பிரதமர் நரேந்திரமோடி ஒவ்வொரு தீபாவளி நேரத்தின்போதும், முன்அறிவிப்பு வெளியிடாமல் எல்லைப்புறங்களுக்கு சென்று, ராணுவவீரர்களோடு தீபாவளியை கொண்டாடி மகிழ்வார். ராணுவ வீரர்களும், நாங்கள் தனி ஆள் இல்லை. இந்த நாடே எங்களோடுதான் இருக்கிறது என்பதை பிரதிபலிக்கும்வகையில், எங்கள் பிரதமரே இங்கு வந்திருக்கிறார் என்று மகிழ்வோடு தங்கள் கவலையை மறந்திருப்பார்கள். இந்த ஆண்டு காஷ்மீரி லுள்ள குரேஸ் பகுதியில் ராணுவ வீரர்களோடு தீபாவளியை நரேந்திரமோடி கொண்டாடும்போது, பண்டிகை நேரங் களில் குடும்பத்தினரோடு தொடர்புகொள்ள மொபைல் போன் இணைப்புகள் வேண்டும் என்று அவர்கள் சார்பில், முன்னாள் காஷ்மீர் முதல்–மந்திரி உமர்அப்துல்லா வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார். எல்லைப்புறங்களில் செல்போன் ‘டவர்’ கிடையாது என்பதால் அங்கிருந்து செல்போனில் வீரர்கள், தங்கள் குடும்பத்தோடு பேசமுடியாது. ‘சாட்டி லைட் போன்’ என்று சொல்லப்படும் செயற்கைகோள் போன் மூலமாகத்தான் அவர்கள் பேசமுடியும். தற்போது இதற்காக அவர்களுக்கு மாதவாடகை கட்டணம் ரூ.500–ம், 1 நிமிடம் பேச ரூ.5–ம் வசூலிக்கப்படுகிறது. பிரதமர் சென்ற 2 நாட்களிலிருந்து எல்லைப் பகுதிகளில் இருக்கும் ராணு வத்தினர் மட்டுமல்லாமல், எல்லைப் பாதுகாப்புபடை போன்ற துணை ராணுவத்தினரும் இனிமேல் தங்கள் குடும்பத்தோடு செயற்கைகோள் போனில் பேசுவதற்கான கட்டணம் நிமிடத்திற்கு ரூ.1 என்றும், மாதம் கட்டவேண்டிய வாடகை கட்டணம் ரூ.500 இனி கிடையாது என்றும் உத்தர விடப்பட்டது. இதன்மூலம் எல்லைப் புறங்களிலுள்ள ராணுவத்தினரும், துணை ராணுவத்தினரும் தங்கள் மனைவி, மக்கள், குடும்பத்தினரோடு அதிகநேரம் செலவு இல்லாமல் பேசமுடியும்.

பிரதமர் எடுத்த இந்த நடவடிக்கை மிகவும் வரவேற்புக் குரியது. குடும்பத்தினர் தங்கள் அருகில் இல்லையே, நாம் இப்படி பனிக்குள்ளும், புயலுக்குள்ளும் தன்னந்தனியாக நிற்கிறோமே? என்ற கவலையை அவர்கள் மறந்து நிம்மதியுடனும், மனநிறைவோடும் பணியாற்ற இதுபோன்ற சலுகைகள் உதவும். தொலைத்தூரத்தில் உள்ள அவர் களது குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் இது பெருமகிழ்ச்சியை அளிக்கும். ராணுவத்தினருக்கான இதுபோன்ற பல்வேறு நலத்திட்டங்கள், சலுகைகளை அவர்களாக கேட்கமுடியாது. அவர்கள் கேட்காமலேயே அவர்களுக்கு நிறைய செய்தால் அவர்கள் மட்டுமல்லாமல், அவர்கள் குடும்பத்தினர் மட்டுமல்லாமல், நாடும் நிச்சயமாக வரவேற்கும்.

As many as 52 MBBS students have not been issued medical registration numbers by the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) as they were found to have "forged" medical internship certificates.

For the first time, DMC investigation has come out with a huge list of medical aspirants with bogus internship certificates.

Dr Girish Tyagi, registrar, Delhi Medical Council told Mail Today, "This came as a shock to us. We suspect a nexus as 30 students are from Rajasthan. They had initially approached Rajasthan Medical Council and we got a tip off from there."

These were medicine students from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. Now, DMC has written to the Medical Council of India (MCI) and State Medical Council to verify internship certificates too.

DMC has now issued a show cause notice to all of the 52 students. "Three students are from MCD-run Hindu Rao Medical College and Hospital and two are from Delhi-based primary healthcare centre. Some are from UP's Jaunpur district, while few are from Chattisgarh, Mehrauli," he said.

Experts say that because of the nexus that has been providing fake certificates, lives of patients are at risk.

"If by any chance, these students with fake internship certificates, get a registration number, they can put patients' life at risk. During internship, medical students get a practical training. And if they have not practiced it, then how can they provide a medical consultation to patients. This is a criminal act." said Dr Tyagi.

An FIR has been lodged in this matter.

Failed tubectomy: Court orders probe against hospital

BENGALURU: A local court has ordered a probe against MS Ramaiah Hospital and four of its doctors after a tubecto my they conducted in April 2016 failed and the woman got pregnant jus months after giving birth to her second child.

Chaitra, 25, a resident of Nagash ettyhalli in north Bengaluru, opted for tubectomy (a procedure to preven pregnancy) days after she delivered her second son at MS Ramaiah Hospi tal on New BEL Road. The hospita discharged her, claiming the proce dure was a success. Chaitra and he husband, Chaluva Raju, an employe with a private firm, paid Rs 40,000 to wards the delivery of their child and the tubectomy .

However, in December 2016, jus eight months after her second son wa born, the infant was unable to con sume breast milk. On consulting doc tors at the government-run KC Gener al Hospital, Chaitra learnt that she was pregnant again.

"Raju visited MS Ramaiah Hospital seeking an explanation, but he was abused and threatened with dire consequences," reads the FIR filed at Sadashivanagar police station. TOI has a copy of the FIR, which has named th hospital and four doctors -Narendra nath, Harisha, Manjunatha and Jas mine -as accused.

Police said Raju was advised by hi friends to file a complaint with a court. Chaitra filed a private complaint report with the 4th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court, alleging the hospital had cheated them and did not respond when the procedure's failure was brought to notice. On October 20, the court directed police to investigate the case.

CASE AGAINST DOCS

Police filed a case against the hospital and four doctors based on the court order. They were booked under IPC sections 506 (criminal intimidation), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 403 (dishonest misappropriation of property), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention)."We have asked the petitioner to submit documents related to the allegation. We will summon the accused for inquiry," police said, adding that they will submit the investigation report before the court before March 26, 2018, when the PCR has been posted for hearing.

திருப்பதி திருமலையில் நடைபெறும் பூஜையும், செய்யப்படும் முறையும்

திருப்பதி ஏழுமலையான் கோயில் அதிகாலை 3 மணிக்கு திறக்கப்பட்டு 3.30 வரை சுப்ரபாத தரிசனம் நடக்கும். 

காலையில் சுவாமியை எழுப்புவதற்கு 2 அர்ச்சகர்கள், 2 ஊழியர்கள், தீப்பந்தம் பிடிக்கும் ஒருவர், வீணை வாசிக்கும் ஒருவர் என 6 பேர் சன்னதி முன்னால் உள்ள தங்க வாசலுக்கு வந்து சேருவார்கள். 

முதலில் துவார பாலகர்களுக்கு நமஸ்காரம் செய்வார்கள். 

பின்னர் அர்ச்சகர் ஒரு ஊழியரிடம் சாவியை வாங்கி சன்னதியை திறப்பார்.
பின்னர் சுவாமியை வணங்கிவிட்டு சன்னதி கதவை சாத்திவிட்டு உள்ளே செல்வார்கள். 

அந்நேரத்தில் ""கௌசல்யா சுப்ரஜா ராம... என்ற சுப்ரபாதம் வெளியே நிற்கும் ஒரு குழுவினரால் பாடப்படும். 

சன்னதிக்குள் தீப்பந்தம் கொண்டு செல்பவர் அங்குள்ள விளக்குகளை எல்லாம் ஏற்றுவார். 

பின்னர் வீணையை இசைக்க, வெங்கடாசலபதி அருகில் "போக ஸ்ரீனிவாச மூர்த்தி" பெருமாள் விக்ரஹத்தைக் கொண்டு வந்து அமர்த்துவார்கள்.
அவரை முதல் நாள் இரவில் ஒரு தொட்டிலில் படுக்க வைத்திருப்பார்கள்.
அந்த தொட்டிலிலிருந்து சுவாமியை எடுத்து மூலவர் அருகில் அமரவைப்பர்.
சுப்ரபாதம் பாடி முடித்ததும் சன்னதி திறக்கப்படும். 

சுவாமிக்கு பாலும் வெண்ணெயும் படைத்து "நவநீத ஹாரத்தி எனப்படும் தீபாராதனை செய்யப்படும். 

"விஸ்வரூப தரிசனம் என்றும் இதை சொல்வதுண்டு.
இந்த சேவையைக் காண ஒரு நபருக்கு கட்டணம் ரூ.120/-.
மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பே முன்பதிவு செய்பவர்கள் மட்டுமே அனுமதிக்கப் படுவார்கள். 

திருப்பதி மலையிலுள்ள ஆகாய கங்கை தீர்த்தத்திலிருந்து மூன்று குடங்களில் புனிதநீர் வந்துசேரும். 

ஒரு குடம் நீரை காலை பூஜைக்கும், மற்றொன்றை மாலை பூஜைக்கும், இன்னொன்றை இரவு பூஜைக்கும் எடுத்து வைப்பார்கள்.
(பிரம்மோற்ஸவ காலத்தில் மட்டும் யானைமீது தீர்த்தம் எடுத்து வரப்படும்).
ஒரு குடம் தண்ணீரை ஐந்து வெள்ளி பாத்திரங்களில் நிரப்புவார்கள்.
பின்னர் உத்தரணி (ஸ்பூன் போன்றது)யில் தண்ணீர் எடுத்து சுவாமி முன்பு அர்ச்சகர் நீட்டுவார். 

சுவாமி அதில் முகத்தை அலம்பிக் கொள்வார் என்பது ஐதீகம்.
பின்னர் மீதி உள்ள தண்ணீரை சுவாமியின் பாதத்தில் அபிஷேகம் செய்வார்கள். 

முழு மூர்த்திக்கும் அபிஷேகம் நடப்பதில்லை. 

மூலவருக்கு பதிலாக அருகிலுள்ள போக ஸ்ரீனிவாச மூர்த்திக்கு அபிஷேகம் செய்யப்படும். 

அப்போது சுவாமியின் இடுப்பில் ஒரு துண்டை கட்டி வாசனை தைலம் தேய்த்து, மஞ்சள் கலந்த நீரால் அபிஷேகம் நடத்துவார்கள்.
பிறகு பசும்பால், சந்தனம், தேன், மீண்டும் மஞ்சள் தண்ணீர் என வரிசையாக அபிஷேகம் நடக்கும். அபிஷேகத்திற்கு பிறகு வஸ்திரம் சாத்தப்படும்.
சுவாமிக்கு நெற்றியில் நாமம் இடுவார்கள். பிறகு அவர் முன்னால் கண்ணாடியை காட்டுவார்கள். 

குடை பிடித்து, சாமரத்தால் விசிறுவார்கள். தன்பிறகு தீபாராதனை நடக்கும்.
இத்துடன் காலை சுப்ரபாத பூஜை நிறைவடையும். 

சுப்ரபாத பூஜையை அடுத்து, காலை 3.30 முதல் 3.45 வரை சன்னதியை திரை போட்டு மறைத்து, சுத்தி எனப்படும் தூய்மை செய்யும் பணி நடக்கும்.
அந்த நேரத்தில் முதல் நாள் சுவாமிக்கு அணிந்த மாலைகளை கோயிலுக்கு பின்னால் உள்ள பூக் கிணறில் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பார்கள். 

பின்னர் புதிய மாலைகள் சுவாமிக்கு கொண்டு வரப்படும். இதைக் கொண்டுவர ஜீயங்கார் என்பவர் உள்ளார். 

ஜீயங்காருக்கு உதவியாக ஏகாங்கி என சொல்லப்படுபவர் இருக்கிறார்.
ஜீயங்கார் முன்னால் நடக்க ஏகாங்கி பின்னால் வருவார். கூடவே முரசு வாத்தியத்துடன் ஒருவர் செல்வார். 

இவர்களுக்கு பின்னால் பள்ளி எழுச்சி பாட இருவர், திருப்பாவை பாட இருவர், புருஷ ஸுக்தம் சொல்ல இருவர் என ஒரு கோஷ்டியே திரண்டு வரும்.
பூ கட்டுவதற்கு என "யமுனாதுறை" என்ற இடம் கோயிலில் இருக்கிறது. அங்கிருந்து பூமாலைகள் சுவாமிக்கு அணிவதற்காக எடுத்து வரப்படும்.
காலை 3.45 மணிக்கு "தோமாலை சேவை" ஆரம்பமாகும். 

சன்னதிக்கு பூக்கூடை வந்தவுடன் அர்ச்சகர் சுவாமியின் மார்பில் இருக்கும் மகாலட்சுமிக்கு முதலில் பூச்சரத்தை சாத்துவார். பின்னர் சுவாமிக்கு மாலைகள் சாத்தப்படும். 

பெருமாளுக்கு மாலை சாத்தி முடித்து அடுக்கு தீபாராதனை செய்யப்படும். இதற்கு 25 நிமிடம் ஆகும். 

அதுவரை ஜீயங்காரும் மற்றவர்களும் திருப்பள்ளி எழுச்சி, திருப்பாவை பாசுரங்களை பாடுவார்கள். 

இதை பார்ப்பதற்கு கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கப்படும். இதற்கும் மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பே முன்பதிவு செய்ய வேண்டும்.
இந்த சேவை ராமானுஜர் காலத்தில், "தோள் மாலை சேவை என சுத்த தமிழில் அழைக்கப்பட்டது. 

பின்னர் தெலுங்கில் "தோமாலா சேவா என மாறிவிட்டது.
கொலுவு தர்பார்: ஏழுமலையான் கோயிலில் தோமாலை சேவை காலை 4.30 மணிக்கு நிறைவுபெறும். 

இதையடுத்து கொலுவு நிகழ்ச்சி 15 நிமிடங்கள் நடக்கும்.
இதற்காக உள்ள "கொலுவு ஸ்ரீநிவாச மூர்த்தி" விக்ரகம் ஏழுமலையான் சன்னதிக்குள் இருக்கிறது. 

இந்த விக்ரகத்தை வெள்ளி பல்லக்கில் வைத்து, வெள்ளி குடை பிடித்து சன்னதியில் இருந்து வெளியில் எடுத்து வருவர். 

ஒரு மறைவிடத்தில் வைத்து, எள்ளுப்பொடி, வெல்லம், வெண்ணெய் நைவேத்தியம் செய்து அர்ச்சனை நடத்தி ஆரத்தி காட்டுவர்.
பிறகு அர்ச்சகர் ஒரு பஞ்சாங்கத்தை பிரித்து, அன்றைய நாள், நட்சத்திரம், திதி உள்ளிட்ட விவரங்களை வாசிப்பார். 

அதன்பிறகு முதல்நாள் உண்டியலில் எவ்வளவு பணம் சேர்ந்தது, தங்கம், வெள்ளி வரவு ஆகிய விபரங்களை சுவாமியிடம் சொல்வர்.
மூலவரே கொலுவு ஸ்ரீநிவாசமூர்த்தியின் வடிவில் வெளியே வருவதாக ஐதீகம் உண்டு. 

மூலவரிடமே நேரடியாக கணக்கு வழக்குகளைச் சொல்வதாக நம்பிக்கை. இந்த காட்சியைக்காண பக்தர்களுக்கு அனுமதி இல்லை.
முதல் மணி: 

அர்ச்சனாந்திர தரிசனம் முடிந்ததும், வெங்கடாசலபதிக்கு முதல் நைவேத்தியம் படைக்கப்படும். அப்போது இரண்டு மணிகள் ஒலிக்கப்படும். அவருக்கு முதலில் தயிர்சாதம் படைக்கப்படும்.
மூலவருடன் விஷ்வக்சேனர், கருடன் மற்றும் நித்யசூரிகளுக்கும் (முக்தி பெற்றவர்கள்) இதே நைவேத்தியம் படைக்கப்படும். 

இரண்டாவது மணி:
இதையடுத்து மீண்டும் மணி அடிக்கப்பட்டு 2வது முறையாக நைவேத்தியம் படைக்கப்படும். 

அப்போது வராக புராணத்தில் உள்ள 108 நாமாக்களை கொண்ட அஷ்டோத்திர நாமா வாசிக்கப்படும். இதை பக்தர்கள் யாரும் பார்க்க முடியாது.
ஆனால், சுவாமிக்கு நைவேத்தியம் செய்யப்படும் செருப்புலு மற்றும் பணியார வகைகள் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட அளவு பக்தர்களுக்கு மட்டும் பிரசாதமாக வழங்கப்படும். 

சகஸ்ரநாம அர்ச்சனை: 

கொலுவு தரிசனத்தை அடுத்து சகஸ்ரநாம அர்ச்சனை நடக்கும். விஷ்ணு சகஸ்ரநாமம் பற்றி நீங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டிருப்பீர்கள். ஆனால் வெங்கடாசலபதிக்கென தனியாக ஆயிரத்தெட்டு பெயர் சொல்லி சகஸ்ரநாமம் இருக்கிறது. 

இதை செய்வதற்கு ஒரு நபருக்கு ரூ.120 கட்டணம். காலை 4.45 மணி முதல் 5.30 வரை இந்த அர்ச்சனை நடக்கும். 

நமது பெயர், குலம், கோத்திரம் ஆகியவற்றை முன் கூட்டியே சொல்லிவிட்டால் நமது பெயரில் அர்ச்சனை செய்வார்கள்.
இந்த தரிசனத்தின் போது பக்தர்களை அங்குள்ள ஊழியர்கள் யாரும் தள்ளி விட மாட்டார்கள். 

சகஸ்ரநாம அர்ச்சனை முடிந்து பூஜை நடத்தப்படும். இந்த பூஜைக்கு "அர்ச்சனாந்தர தரிசனம் என்று பெயர். 

இதை பார்க்க ஒரு நபருக்கு ரூ.200 கட்டணம். மூன்று மாதங் களுக்கு முன்பே பதிவு செய்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். 

காலை 5.30க்கு துவங்கும் இந்த பூஜை 6.30 மணி வரை நடக்கும்.
சகஸ்ர தீப அலங்கார சேவை: ஊஞ்சல் மண்டபத்தில் தினமும் மாலை 5.30 மணிக்கு சகஸ்ர தீப அலங்காரம் (ஆயிரம் தீபங்கள்) செய்யப்படும். அப்போது அன்னமயா சங்கீர்த்தனம் பாடப்படும். 

இதற்கும் கட்டணம் உண்டு. 5 பேர் பங்கேற்கலாம். 

அவர்களுக்கு வஸ்திரம் பிரசாதமாக வழங்கப்படும். திருமணமானவர்கள் இந்த வைபவத்தில் பங்கேற்பது சிறப்பானது. 

ஆபரணம் இல்லாத நாள்: வியாழக்கிழமைகளில் வெங்கடாசலபதிக்கு முக்கிய ஆபரணங்கள் எதுவுமின்றி வேட்டி மற்றும் வெல்வெட் அங்கி அணிவிக்கப் படும். 

அதன் மேல் அங்கவஸ்திரம் மட்டும் சாத்துவார்கள். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு "சாலிம்பு என்று பெயர். 

மேலும் சுவாமிக்கு வழக்கமாக அணிவிக்கப்படும் திருநாமத்திற்கு பதிலாக நெற்றியின் மத்தியில் மெல்லிய நாமம் மட்டும் அணிவிக்கப்படும்.
கல்யாண உற்சவம்: 

திருப்பதி கோயிலில் உள்ள சம்பங்கி பிரகாரத்தில் திருமண ஹால் இருக்கிறது. 

அங்கு உற்சவரான மலையப்ப சுவாமிக்கும் ஸ்ரீதேவி, பூதேவிக்கும் திருமணம் நடத்தப்படும். 

பதினைந்தாம் நூற்றாண்டில் இருந்து இந்த திருமணம் நடந்து வருவதாக சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

மதுரை: அரசு மருத்துவமனைகளில் 1,159 மருத்துவர் பணியிடங்கள் காலியாக இருப்பதாக உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் தகவல் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 1,740 செவிலியர் பணியிடங்களும் காலியாக உள்ளது என சுகாதாரத்துறை கூறியுள்ளது. கீழக்கரை அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் மருத்துவர்கள் இல்லை என்று ராஜூ என்பவர் வழக்கு தாக்கல் செய்தார். இதனையடுத்து உயர்நீதிமன்ற மதுரை கிளை உத்தரவின்படி சுகாதாரத்துறை பதில்மனு தாக்கல் செய்தது. அதில் காலியாக உள்ள செவிலியர் பணியிடங்களை டிசம்பர் மாதத்துக்குள் நிரப்ப நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்தியர்கள் வாங்கும் சொத்துகளின் மதிப்பு ரூ.30,000 கோடியாக இருந்தநிலையில், இந்த மதிப்பு கடந்த ஒன்றரை ஆண்டுகளில் ரூ.12,000 கோடி அதிகரித்து ரூ.42,000 கோடியாக அதிகரித்துள்ளதாகவும் அந்தப் புள்ளிவிவரத்தில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது 40 சதவிகித வளர்ச்சியாகும். அதேபோல், துபாயில் சொத்துகளை வாங்கும் இந்தியர்களில் 33 சதவிகிதம் பேர் அடுக்குமாடி குடியிருப்புகளை வாங்கவும் வில்லா எனப்படும் தனி வீடுகளை வாங்க 17 சதவிகிதம் பேரும், வணிக வளாகங்கள் மற்றும் நிலம் ஆகியவற்றை வாங்க முறையே 9 மற்றும் 6 சதவிகிதம் பேரும் ஆர்வம் காட்டுவதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து பேசிய துபாய் பிராப்பரிட்டி ஷோ நிகழ்ச்சியின் மேலாளர் அசங்க சில்வா, ‘சர்வதேச அளவில் குடியிருப்புகள் வாங்குவோரின் விரும்பமான பட்டியலில் துபாய்க்கு எப்போதுமே சிறப்பான இடம் உண்டு. இந்திய ரூபாயின் மதிப்பு உயரும்போது அந்தப் பலன்களைச் சொத்துகள் வாங்குவதில் இந்தியர்கள் முதலீடு செய்கின்றனர்’ என்றார்.

சேலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஓர் இளம்பெண்ணை சேலம் ஆயுதப்படை போலீஸ் 7 ஆண்டுகளாகக் காதலித்து குடும்பம் நடத்திவிட்டு இறுதியாகத் திருமணம் செய்யாமல் ஏமாற்றியதால் அந்தப் பெண் இன்று காலை தூக்குப்போட்டு தற்கொலை செய்திருக்கிறார்.

சேலம் பழைய சூரமங்கலம் கபிலர் தெருவைச் சேர்ந்தவர் தங்கம். இவருக்குச் சந்துரு என்ற மகனும் தேன்மொழி, கனிமொழி ஆகிய மகள்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள். தங்கத்தின் மூத்த மகளான தேன்மொழிக்குத்தான் இந்தக் கொடுமை நடந்துள்ளது. இதையடுத்து தேன்மொழியின் உறவினர்கள் சேலம் கலெக்டர் அலுவலகத்தின் எதிரே சாலை மறியலில் ஈடுபட்டார்கள். பிறகு அவர்களைக் காவல்துறையினர் சமரசம் செய்து கலெக்டரிடம் மனு கொடுக்கச் செய்திருக்கிறார்கள்.




தேன்மொழியின் உறவினர் பேபி கெளசல்யா, ''தேன்மொழி பி.ஏ ஆங்கிலம் முடித்துவிட்டு சேலம் ரிலையன்ஸ் மாலில் வேலைபார்த்து வந்தார். சேலம் கோட்டகவுண்டன்பட்டியைச் சேர்ந்தவர் சீனிவாசன் என்கின்ற முருகன். இவர் சேலம் புறநகர் ஆயுதப்படை போலீஸாக இருக்கிறார். தேன்மொழியும் சீனிவாசனும் 7 ஆண்டுகளாகக் காதலித்து வந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

சீனிவாசன் தேன்மொழியைத் திருமணம் செய்துகொள்வதாகச் சொல்லி அவ்வப்போது இரண்டு, மூன்று மாதம் தனியாக வீடு எடுத்து கணவன் மனைவியாக வாழ்ந்தும் இருக்கிறார்கள். அப்போது தேன்மொழியை அடித்துச் சித்தரவதை செய்துள்ளார். அதையடுத்து சூரமங்கலம் காவல்நிலையத்தில் புகார் கொடுத்தோம். போலீஸார் எந்த நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்கவில்லை. இறுதியாக அஸ்தம்பட்டி ஆயுதப்படை குடியிருப்பில் தேன்மொழியைக் கூட்டிச் சென்று குடும்பம் நடத்தி வந்தார்.

ஆனால், திருமணம் செய்யச் சொல்லி கேட்டதுக்கு 20 பவுன் கொடு அதுவும் நீ எனக்கு தங்கை முறையாகிறது என்று ஏமாற்றி அடித்து அனுப்பியுள்ளார். இதனால், விரத்தியில் வந்த தேன்மொழி இன்று காலை வீட்டில் தூக்குப்போட்டு இறந்துவிட்டார். அந்த சீனிவாசன் காம கயவனை போலீஸ் பாரபட்சம் பார்க்காமல் தண்டிக்க வேண்டும்'' என்றார்.

WhatsApp finally starts pushing 'Delete for Everyone' feature

Both sender and recipient should have the updated version to use the new feature.

The feature reportedly works for text, images, voice messages, locations, contacts and status updates. The deleted messages will be replaced with ‘This message was deleted’ in the recipients chat. The error also means that the message was deleted for everyone in the chat.

After a lot of speculation WhatsApp is finally rolling out its ‘Delete for everyone’ feature for its Android, iOS and Windows OS users.

According WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp users will now be able to recall the wrongly sent texts. The roll out is said to be sluggish and both sender and recipient should have the updated version to use the new feature.

WhatsApp informed its users saying "Deleting messages for everyone allows you to delete specific messages you have sent to either a group or an individual chat. This is particularly useful if you sent a message to the wrong chat or if the message you sent contains a mistake."

The feature reportedly works for text, images, voice messages, locations, contacts and status updates. The deleted messages will be replaced with ‘This message was deleted’ in the recipients chat. The error also means that the message was deleted for everyone in the chat.

Although, WhatsApp is yet to announce the roll out of the new feature, few users have already figured out that the feature can work similar to how the Gmail Undo feature works.

Take note that the Delete for Everyone will be a time sensitive feature and users will have only seven minutes to revoke the message. Also the texts contained in the quoted messages cannot be deleted. And the messages sent in a Broadcast List will also be intact to this feature.

Chennai: "Freedom of expression is for all, " the Madras High Court on Friday said while dismissing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a lawyer seeking to revoke the censor certificate for 'Mersal'.

The censor certificate was issued to actor Vijay starrer 'Mersal' for its anti-Goods and Services Tax (GST) dialogues by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The high court stated that 'Mersal' is only a film and not real life.

The petitioner had argued that the censor certificate should be revoked as the movie was full of "wrong propaganda about India and fake dialogues and scenes which obviously lead to the misconception about the new taxation system of India and the Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 to the viewers."

"No picture shall be certified for public exhibition which will lower the moral standards of those who see it and the prevailing laws shall not be so ridiculed as to create sympathy for violation of such laws," he had argued.

The petitioner had also sought an interim stay on the screening of the movie which released on October 18.

The court's decision comes after the producers on last Saturday decided to remove the scenes which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) objected to.

The BJP took objection to what it termed as "untruthful" regarding the GST in the film and wanted dialogues on the central taxation to be deleted.

A scene in the movie shows a character delivering a fiery monologue in which he attacks the government's failure to provide free public healthcare despite charging a national GST of up to 28 per cent.

The scene sparked an uproar among members of the ruling BJP who wanted it to be deleted from the film.

17 government staff booked for renting out official flats

CHENNAI: The Central Bureau of Investigation has booked 17 Central government employees for renting or subletting out the official quarters allotted to them in the Central Public Works Department quarters in K K Nagar.

Besides the government staff who illegally let their quarters on rent, the CBI has booked 18 individuals who took the houses on rent and were living there.

According to the CBI, the individuals for whom the quarters were illegally rented out had obtained Aadhaar card, ration card, and gas connection in the Central government quarters located in heart of the city.

CBI sources said the accused are working in various Central government agencies such as Geological Survey of India, Regional Passport Office, Ministry of Defence and All India Radio and their act amounts to abuse of their official position and cheating the government.

Thirunavakarasu, who works for the Central Public Works Department, is named as an accused in the FIR. He was allegedly the main conduit between the government staff and the private persons. It is alleged that he knowingly allowed private individuals to stay in the Central government quarters.

Aadhaar or else: Mobile phone users told to toe the line

CHENNAI: The Centre may have pledged to the Supreme Court not to use coercion to get mobile phone users to link their connections to their Aadhaar numbers, service providers are using every trick in the book to do exactly that.

In a recce of mobile phone franchisees and retail outlets across the south, Express found that service providers almost without exception everywhere are using tactics ranging from ‘encourgement’ to outright coercion to make customers fall in line with the Aadhaar must policy of the government although the matter is still being heard in the courts.

Almost at every outlet in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Odisha, new applicants are being told that they cannot have a phone connection without Aadhaar documentation although the Centre has extended the deadline for it to March 31, 2018.

Lack of infra takes flights from Chennai

CHENNAI: Chennai airport seems to be losing out on the regional boom as airlines are looking at Bengaluru and Hyderabad as hubs to position their flights to connect tier II and tier III cities.

IndiGo airlines has launched a large-scale expansion of regional routes but more than 30 flights of IndiGo connecting Rajahmundry and Tirupati to metros and tier II cities will be routed through Bengaluru, while only nine flights will be routed via Chennai hinting that infrastructure limitations are preventing airlines from routing flights via Chennai.

The flights will start in January.

IndiGo on Thursday announced expansion of its regional network by adding 63 new services to connect Tirupati and Rajahmundry on its existing network of Airbus 320s and ATRs.

The airline will connect Tirupati and Rajahmundry to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Dubai, Muscat, Singapore and other cities via Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mangalore. Bookings have begun for the flights which will start on January 9 and January 16.

The flights that will be routed via Chennai are: Port Blair-Rajahmundry, Kolkata-Rajahmundry, Rajahmundry-Singapore, Rajahmundry-Muscat.

Some of the new routes include Chennai-Rajahmundry via Hyderabad, Rajahmundry-Chennai via Hyderabad, Chennai-Tirupati via Bengaluru, Tirupati-Chennai via Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram -Tirupati via Bengaluru, Kochi -Rajahmundry via Bengaluru and others.

Passengers will have to change flights at the hub airports like Bengaluru and Chennai. This means that the airline has more options out of Bengaluru and Hyderabad than in Chennai. This is reflected in the schedule announced by IndiGo.

A senior official of Airports Authority of India (AAI) said that there were limitations in parking bays and slots for airlines in Chennai airport because of constraints like parking space, taxiways, availability of runways and others.

An airline official said that Chennai airport had problems in providing slots for flights during peak hours. "The demand for seats is high during peak hours because people want to travel out of the city early morning. However, it will lead to congestion if more flights are allowed in peak hours because parking bays are available only near second runway. But it will take time to bring the aircraft by crossing the main runway to reach the terminals to board passengers," he added.

CHENNAI: Justice A Arumughaswamy heading the one-member commission of inquiry to probe the demise of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa on Friday said that anyone having personal knowledge and direct acquaintance on the subject shall furnish information on or before November 22.

In a notification on Friday, the retired judge of the Madras high court said, "All those having personal knowledge and direct acquaintance on the subject matter of inquiry are at liberty to furnish such knowledge and information along with the relevant documents, if any, in the form of a sworn affidavit (three copies) relating to the matter under reference on or before November 22."

The documents shall be submitted to the office of the inquiry commission located on first floor of Kalas Mahal Heritage Building near Ezhilagam at Chepauk (Chennai, 600 005), either in person or by post, the judge said.

The AIADMK government set up the Arumughaswamy commission on September 25 to inquire into the death of former chief minister. On September 27, the government announced the terms of reference for the commission: The pane will probe "the circumstances and situation to the hospitalisation of the chief minister on September 22 and subsequent treatment provided till her unfortunate demise on December 5, 2016."

Pay stipend to trainee doctors’

The Doctors’ Association for Social Equality (DASE) has urged the government to pay stipend for trainee doctors of Sivaganga Medical College. The students have suspended work as they had not been paid stipend for the past two months.

According to DASE general secretary G.R. Ravindranath, the students told him that for the past five years, fees in excess of the stipulated amount had been collected and that the college had not issued any receipt.

He also alleged that similar complaints were being received from other government medical colleges too.

PUDUCHERRY: A 9th standard student of the Government High school in Mettupalayam was expelled from the school after he assaulted his teacher inside the class room.

The incident happened when Subrayan, the Tamil teacher was taking class and had asked the students to write a test. Instead of writing the test, the student on the back bench was watching some video clippings on his cell phone. He also showed it to the other students seated close to him,. Noticing this, Subrayan questioned his behavior and after admonishing him took away the mobile phone. Since the student showed no remorse or took heed of the teacher’s advise, he was asked to come with his parents.

After some time, the student came to the teacher and asked him to return his mobile phone, which led to an altercation and the student reportedly slapped the teacher on his face.

Subrayan lodged a complaint with the head master following which the head master asked the student to bring his parents. However he also entered into an argument with the head master, but was asked to leave.

Subsequently, the matter was brought to the notice of the higher officials of the education department and the school disciplinary committee conducted an inquiry. They also asked the student to bring his parents but he failed to bring them following which he was expelled from the school. The Transfer Certificate was handed over to his brother, who collected it and left.

Incidentally the student joined the government school last year in IXth standard, after he was thrown out of a private school following failure in IXth standard. The student again failed in IXth standard in the government school .

Conjoined twins separated at AIIMS after 16 hours' surgery

NEW DELHI: In one of the rarest medical interventions in India, two-year-old twins joined at the head were separated during a 16-hour-long surgery performed by doctors at AIIMS which ended today.

The twins are on ventilator and their condition was critical, doctors said.

Odisha twins--Jaga and Kalia--were under observation and being monitored by a team of experts constantly. They are also being given blood, AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria said.

Guleria said though the 28-month-old twins have been separated, the next 18 days would be extremely critical to ascertain the success of the surgery.

The team of doctors involved in the procedure also seemed concerned about the survival of one of the twins, citing his deteriorating health.

"The children have been separated. There were many challenges in this surgery which we have never seen before.

During the surgery a total of 3.5 litres blood was also lost," A K Mahapatra, the chief of the neurosciences centre at the AIIMS said.

A team of about 30 specialists from the institute's neurosurgery, neuro-anaesthesia and plastic surgery departments performed the marathon surgery which began yesterday at 9 AM and got over at around 3 AM today.

Mahapatra said Jaga was of more fragile health and his condition was more critical while Kalia was thought to be stable.

The twins, hailing from Milipada village under Phiringia block in Kandhamal district, are craniopagus conjoined twins, joined at the heads. This is a very rare condition, a senior doctor had said.

"Both the children have other health issues as well.

While Jaga has heart issues Kalia has kidney problems. Though initially Jaga was healthier, now his condition has deteriorated. Kalia is better," Mahapatra said.

The first phase of the surgery was performed on August 28 when the doctors created a venous bypass to separate the veins shared by the babies that return blood to the heart from the brain.

The twins were admitted to AIIMS on July 13.

Elaborating on the challenges faced during the surgery, the medical team said each of the children required 20 units of blood.

"There was a situation in which one of the kids did not have blood nerves which had to be created. The skin grafting was also done and later extra care had to be taken for the blood, nutrition and overall health of the two so that they could sustain during the surgery," said Guleria.

The most challenging job after the separation was to provide a skin cover on both sides of the brain for the children as the surgey had left large holes on their heads.

"The skin was generated from the expansion of two balloons which were placed in their heads during the first surgery. If the twins make it, the next step will be reconstructing their skulls," Maneesh Singhal, professor and head of plastic surgery at AIIMS.

Neurosurgeon Deepak Gupta, who played an important role in the surgery, said the twins also had seizures during the procedure which had to be taken care of by the operating team.

Gupta had earlier said the condition, which the twins suffer from, afflicted one in 30 lakh children, of which 50 per cent die either at birth or within 24 hours.

In the country, two similar surgeries had taken place earlier to separate twins joined at the head but were not successful as the children died during the procedure.

Subscribers can now link their registered mobile numbers to Aadhaar without visiting telecom service providers.(PTI)

The government has introduced three new methods, including through one-time password (OTP), to ease the process of linking the 12-digit Aadhaar identity number with individual mobile numbers, communications minister Manoj Sinha said on Wednesday.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has introduced the three new rules — through one-time password, app-based and interactive voice response (IVRS) facility, to link Aadhaar with the mobile numbers.

With this, subscribers can now link their registered mobile numbers to Aadhaar without visiting the telecom service providers’ stores.

“For the ease of senior citizens and the people with disability and chronic illness, DoT has also recommended for the re-verification at subscribers’ doorstep,” a DoT statement said.

In another development, the Centre told the Supreme Court on Wednesday that the deadline for linking Aadhaar to various government schemes would be extended till March 31, 2018.

According to the new guidelines, the telecom operators should provide an online mechanism for people to request such service and based on availability schedule the visit and complete the process.

“The Aadhaar number system was designed to allow all residents of the country access to critical government services and important information that they may need from time to time,” the minister said.

“Mobile penetration is increasing rapidly in the country and the subscribers need to be provided with the ease of linking of the Aadhaar number with the mobile number,” he added.

Sinha said: “It is the government’s endeavour to improve convenience and reduce time and energy spent by consumers to accessing government information and services that is their right to access.”

“The latest clarifications from the DoT are aligned with what the industry, and the subscribers need at this time. While, it will take a little time to implement the directions, we are working closely with the government to improve and enhance the convenience of our consumers for undertaking Aadhaar based e-KYC linking of their mobile number,” a Cellular Operators’ Association of India (COAI) representative said.

“We are implementing all the necessary processes so as to be able to use the additional methods prescribed including OTP, App based and the IVRS facility. We expect it to get much faster and easier for individual mobile subscribers to comply with the e-KYC norms using their Aadhaar registered mobile number,” the representative added.

In a circular in August, DoT had given instructions to the telecom service providers to provide iris or fingerprint based authentication of Aadhaar. The new regulations have specified that the telecom service providers must deploy iris readers for this purpose within a reasonable geographical area.

Southern Railway vigilance dept arrests 15 ticket touts

CHENNAI: The vigilance department of the Southern Railway conducted 452 checks on ticket touts and unauthorised vendors in the one month - from September 21 to October 20 -- when many people travelled in trains due to Pooja and Diwali holidays. The vigilance department collected a total of Rs 86,052 as fine from them.

The vigilance department conducted many checks against touts and unauthorised travel agents in reservation offices to protect the interest of genuine passengers.

உலகில் நடக்கும் வியாபாரங்களில் அதிக அளவிலான மோசடி நடக்கும் வியாபாரம் தங்க வியாபாரம் தானாம்! அதைப்பற்றி முகநூலில் ஒருவர் பகிர்ந்திருந்த வாட்ஸ் அப் தகவல் அடிப்படையிலான கட்டுரை தங்கம் வாங்குவோரை யோசிக்க வைக்கும் விதத்தில் இருக்கிறது. இந்தக் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளுக்கெல்லாம் இதுவரை எந்தப் பிரபல அல்லது பிரபலமில்லாத தங்க நகைக்கடை அதிபர்களாவது பதில் சொல்ல முயன்றிருக்கிறார்களா?

• நாற்பது கிராம் தங்கத்துடன் பத்து கிராம் அமெரிக்கன் டைமன் எனும் கண்ணாடிக் கற்கள் பதித்த நகை என்றால் அதன் விலையை எப்படி நிர்ணயிக்க வேண்டும்?! நாற்பது கிராம் தங்கத்துக்கு தங்கத்தின் விலையையும் பத்து கிராம் அமெரிக்கன் டைமன் கல்லுக்குக் கல்லின் விலையையும் தான் நிர்ணயிக்க வேண்டும்.
• ஆனால் ஐம்பது கிராம் தங்கத்துக்கான விலையை நம்மிடம் வாங்கி விடுகின்றனர். ‘தங்கத்தின் விலையும் கல்லின் விலையும்’ சமமானவை அல்ல. இரண்டுக்கும் இடையே ஏணி வைத்தாலும் எட்ட முடியாத வித்தியாசம் உள்ளது.
• நாற்பது கிராம் தங்கத்துக்கு ஐம்பது கிராம் பணத்தை வாங்குவது மோசடியாகும். ஐம்பது கிராம் தங்கத்துக்குப் பணத்தை வாங்கிக் கொண்டு கல் முத்து பவளம் இலவசம் என்று கூறி மக்களை மேலும் மதிமயக்குகிறார்கள். சில பேர் நாற்பது கிராமுக்கு ஐம்பது கிராமுக்கான பணத்தை வாங்கிக் கொண்டு ‘கல்லுக்கு தனியாகவும்’ பணத்தை வாங்கி ‘இரட்டை மோசடி’ செய்கிறார்கள்.
• அதே சமயம் நாம் பழைய நகையை விற்கச் சென்றால் ‘கல்லை அப்புறப்படுத்தி விட்டு’ தங்கத்தை மட்டும் எடை போட்டு பணம் தருகிறார்கள். இதற்கு நிகரான ஒரு மோசடி வேறு எந்த வியாபாரத்திலும் இருக்குமா? என்று தெரியவில்லை.

இரண்டாவது மோசடி:

• சொக்கத் தங்கம் எனப்படும் தனித்தங்கத்தில் நகை செய்ய முடியாது. அதில் செம்பு கலந்தால் தான் நகை செய்ய முடியும். ஆயிரம் கிராம் நகை செய்ய 916 கிராம் தங்கமும் 84 கிராம் செம்பும் சேர்த்து செய்யப்படும் நகை 22 காரட் என்றும் 916 KDM என்றும் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.
• 916 கிராம் தங்கத்துடன் 84 கிராம் செம்பு சேர்த்து விட்டு 1000 கிராமுக்கும் தங்கத்தின் விலை போடப்படுகிறது. செம்புக்கு தங்கத்தின் விலை போடுவது மற்றொரு மோசடியாக உள்ளது.

மூன்றாவது மோசடி:

• தங்கத்துக்கு இன்றைய காலத்தில் ‘இரண்டு விலை’ உள்ளது.
• ஒன்று மூலப் பொருளுக்கான விலை. மற்றொன்று நாம் விரும்பும் வகையில் 
• தயார் செய்வதற்கான கூலியாகும்.
• ஐந்து பவுன் தங்கத்தில் ஒரு நகை வாங்கினால், ஐந்து பவுன் தங்கத்திற்கான விலையையும் நாம் கொடுக்க வேண்டும். அதைக் குறிப்பிட்ட நகையாக செய்ததற்கான கூலியையும் கொடுத்தாக வேண்டும். இது மட்டும் இருந்தால் இதில் மோசடி ஏதும் இல்லை.
• ஆனால் ஐந்து பவுன் தங்கத்துக்கும் நம்மிடம் பணம் வாங்கிக் கொண்டு அதற்கான கூலியையும் நம்மிடம் வாங்கிக் கொண்டு ‘சேதாரம்’ என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு தொகையையும் வாங்கிக் கொள்கின்றனர்.
• அதாவது மேற்கண்ட நகையைச் செய்யும் போது பத்து சதவிகிதம் சேதாரம் ஆகி விட்டது எனக் கூறி அதற்கான பணத்தையும் நம்மிடம் வாங்கிக் கொள்கின்றனர்.
• அதாவது ஐந்து பவுனுக்கு மட்டும் பணம் வாங்காமல் இன்னொரு அரை பவுனுக்கும் சேர்த்து நம்மிடம் பணம் கறந்து விடுகிறார்கள்.
• நகை செய்யும் போது அரை பவுன் சேதரமாகி வீணாகி விட்டால் அதை நம்மிடம் இருந்து வாங்குவது முறையானது தான். ஆனால் தங்கத்தில் எதுவுமே சேதாரம் ஆவது கிடையாது.
• நகை செய்யும் போதும் பட்டை தீட்டும் போதும் தூள்களாக கீழே சிந்துபவை சேதாரமாகி குப்பைக்குப் போகாது. துகள்களாக உள்ளதை மீண்டும் வேறு நகைக்கு அவர்கள் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்வார்கள்.
• இதற்கெல்லாம் சேர்த்துத் தான் செய்கூலி வாங்கிக் கொள்கின்றனர். மக்களுக்குப் புரியாத டெக்னிகல் வார்த்தைகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி மோசடி செய்கின்றனர். இதைச் செய்யாத நகை வியாபாரிகளைக் காண முடியவில்லை.
• அது போல் பழைய நகை வாங்கும் போது செய்கூலி சேதாரம் எல்லாம் தர மாட்டார்கள். அது நியாயமானது தான்.
• ஆனால் நாம் கொடுக்கும் நகையில் கல்லையும் நீக்கி விட்டு எடை போட்டு அந்த எடைக்கு உள்ள பணத்தைத் தர வேண்டும். அவர்கள் விற்பனை செய்யும் விலையைத் தர வேண்டும் என்று நாம் கூறவில்லை. 
• அவர்கள் வாங்கும் விலையைக் கொடுக்க வேண்டுமல்லவா?! அப்படி கொடுக்க மாட்டார்கள். மாறாக நாம் நாற்பது கிராம் நகையை விற்கச்சென்றால் அதில் கால் வாசிக்கு மேல் குறைத்துத் தான் தருவார்கள்.

‘கிட்டத்தட்ட பகல் கொள்ளையே தான்!’

தனியார் மருத்துவமனையில் பரிசோதித்ததில், என் கர்ப்பப் பையுடன், சிறுநீர் செல்லும் குழாயை தவறாக இணைத்தது தெரிந்தது.
