Tuesday evening. Chengam in Tiruvannamalai district received 130.40 mm
rains.

During the 24-hour period ending 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Vellore district received an average rainfall of 32.16 mm.
Vellore recorded the highest rainfall with 74.4 mm followed by Kaveripakkam (53.2 mm) and Ambur (51.6 mm). Arcot received 38 mm rains, while Melalathur recorded 36.6 mm rainfall and Gudiyatham received 33 mm rains. Parts of Vaniyambadi, Alangayam, Walajah and Tirupattur also received rains.
Tiruvannamalai district received an average rainfall of 65 mm.
Chengam recorded 130.40 mm rains, while Polur recorded 87.80 mm rains and Vandavasi received 84.30 mm rains.
Arni received 81.60 mm rains. Cheyyar recorded 47.50 mm rainfall, while Tiruvannamalai and Sathanur Dam also received rains.
