The Saibaba Colony police on Monday arrested a 27-year-old ambulance driver for shouting ‘go corona’ slogan at two Manipuri women late on Sunday.

M. Vignesh, a native of Theni, was staying in a rented room on Azhagesan Road at Saibaba Colony. Around 7.30 p.m. on Sunday, Vignesh, allegedly in an inebriated state, saw two Manipuri women walking on the road and shouted ‘go corona’ at them, thinking that they were Chinese nationals.
