Mobile app for mock JEE(Main), NEET tests

Mobile app for mock JEE(Main), NEET tests

New Delhi: 20.05.2020

In the face of continued lockdown, now there is help at hand for JEE (Main) and NEET-UG aspirants — a mobile App, provided for free by the National Testing Agency, which not only allows candidates to take mock tests but also get a personalised report which analyses scores through AI, corrects concepts and even indicates the time taken to solve a particular question.

Also, it does not require continuous internet connectivity. The NTA launched its “National Test Abhyas” mobile App on Tuesday to handhold all engineering and medical aspirants in their preparation for the tests which were postponed due to lockdown. The App, according to a senior NTA official from the technical team, will be offering mock tests each of three hours for JEE (Main) and NEET-UG. The candidates will get a personalised report card immediately on completion of the test, which will not only reflect the scores, but also incorrect inputs with an explainer why the answer is wrong. Another big advantage is that once a particular candidate completes 4-5 tests, using AI and advance analytics, the personalised report will pinpoint the weaknesses.

E-registration for JEE (Main) till May 24

In order to accommodate engineering and architecture students whose plans to study abroad have been affected due to Covid-19, the National Testing Agency on Tuesday reopened online registration for JEE (Main) till May 24 for aspirants to apply, reports Manash Gohain. The facility for correction in applications for already registered candidates will also be reopened from May 25 till May 31. TNN
