New Delhi:24.08.2021

The UAE has temporarily suspended visa-on-arrival for flyers from India who have been here 14 days before touching down there, Abu Dhabi-based Etihad airline said. International travel rules are constantly changing during the pandemic and travellers must check for destinationspecific requirements before planning a trip.

“The UAE authorities have decided to temporarily suspend the visa-on-arrival facility for passengers who are arriving from or been in India in the past 14 days. We're working to update our website,” Etihad’s official guest relations Twitter account said on Monday.

Oman has allowed fully vaccinated travellers from India (those who have got Covishield) starting September1. The second dose should have been taken at least 14 days before heading there, among other conditions that must be met for flyers to be allowed into Oman.
