Air India Express also connects Madurai with Kochi thrice a week
Madurai has now got direct flight departure for Singapore on all seven days with Air India Express launching additional services on this route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The first direct flight service from Madurai to Singapore began on September 15, 2017. It was then a four-day-a-week service – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On the very day of launching the international flight service of Air India Express, Air India’s Regional Director (South) Capt. S. Arulmani promised to make it a daily service on getting additional aircraft. And that has happened in six months and from Tuesday, Air India Express launched its additional flight services between Singapore and Madurai with a different timings.
Madurai-Singapore additional flights – IX 484 – will leave Madurai at 12.15 p.m. and arrive at Singapore at 7.05 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
In the return direction, Singapore-Madurai flights – IX 483 – will leave Singapore at 8.10 p.m. and reach Madurai at 10 p.m. on the same days.
Madurai-Kochi flights
The same Boeing-737 aircraft would connect Madurai with Kochi, the sixth domestic destination to be linked with the Temple City. Flight IX 484 will leave Kochi at 10.40 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive at Madurai at 11.20 a.m. on the same days.
In the return direction, Flight IX 483 will leave Madurai at 11 p.m. and reach Kochi at 11.45 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Timings
Madurai-Singapore Flight IX 684 leaves Madurai at 11.15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arrives at Singapore at 6.15 a.m. the next day.
Singapore-Madurai Flight IX 683 leaves Singapore at 10.45 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays and reaches Madurai at 12.30 p.m. the same day.
