Med varsity VC assumes charge
Dr Sudha Seshyyan assumed charge as the 10th vice-chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University on Monday. She took the oath read out by health minister and pro-chancellor C Vijayabaskar, in the presence of health secretary J Radhakrishnan.
Change in train schedules : With three government holidays coming up in January, suburban trains on Chennai Beach – Tambaram/Chengalpattu/ Tirumalpur section, Chennai Beach – Velachery Section and Chennai Beach – Arakkonam Section will follow the Sunday pattern of working on January 1 (New Year), 15 (Pongal) and 26 (Republic Day), 2019.
