IndiGo connects B’luru to Silchar

After non-stop flights from Bengaluru to Dibrugarh, IndiGo has now directly linked the IT city to yet another location in Assam, Silchar. The private passenger carrier is also set to connect Bengaluru to Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh from May 1, 2021.
Silchar became the second destination in Assam, which IndiGo connects non-stop. The maiden flight to the city in Cachar district took off on Tuesday. Flight 6E 6114 landed at Silchar Airport at11.30am with155 passengers from Bengaluru. On return journey, flight 6E 6118 departed for Bengaluru from Silchar at 12.10pm. IndiGo will connect Bengaluru to Silchar thrice a week.
Similarly, come May, IndiGo will connect Bareilly in UP with Bengaluru non-stop with flight operations thrice a week — Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. TNN
