2G: After ED, CBI moves HC against Raja, Kani acquittal

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday moved the Delhi high court challenging a special court order acquitting former telecom minister A Raja, DMK MP Kanimozhi and others in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case.
Additional solicitor general Tushar Mehta mentioned the matter before acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C Hari Shankar following which the court allowed it to be listed for hearing on Wednesday. The enforcement directorate had on Monday moved the HC against acquittal of Raja, Kanimozhi and others in a money laundering case arising out of the 2G scam.
