Convocation day of Vel Tech College held

Vel Tech Multi Tech Engineering College celebrated its 14th convocation day at its north campus on Sunday.
Among 581 graduates, 26 students bagged university ranks from various departments.
The presidential address was given by R Rangarajan, founder chairman and president, Vel Tech University and Vel Group of Institutions.
M K Surappa, vice chancellor, Anna University, was the chief guest.
He spoke about the present economic growth of India and the need to take up challenges in confronting our global competitors for further enhancement of the nation. He motivated the graduates to be more determined and creative enough to take up challenges.
