VIT University to begin counselling from May 10

Counselling for candidates who students who undertook the entrance examination to Vellore Institute of Technology (VITEEE 2017) for the upcoming academic year, will be conducted in phases this May .The varsity said it will hold counselling on May 10 for those who obtained ranks up to 8,000; for students with ranks from 8,001to 14,000 it will hold counselling on May 11.
For those with ranks from 14,001 to 20,000, the session will be on May 12. These sessions would be held simultaneously in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amaravati.The results of the written exam that was conducted between April 5 to 16 were released Sunday , on the University's website http:www.vit.ac.in CBSE and state board toppers will get a full fee waiver for all the four years, while candidates with the top 50 ranks will receive a 75% tuition fee waiver.
Students with ranks between 51 and 100 will get a 50% tuition fee waiver and those with ranks between 101 and 1,000 will get a 25% tuition fee waiver from the university .
