MGR varsity offers seven new courses

Dr MGR Medical University has introduced seven new courses, in addition to the numerous courses under Allied Health Sciences since 2010.
The newly introduced courses are B.Sc fitness and lifestyle modification, B.Sc clinical nutrition, M.Sc nuclear medicine technology, diploma in hearing, language and speech, certificate course in home health care aide, emergency medicine, cardiac electrophysiology, cosmetology and otology, PG diploma in health care management and PG diploma in health law.
The admission examinations are conducted by the university which also furnishes the candidates with a degree certificate upon the completion of the course. The university charges a minimum fee, ranging between Rs18,000 and Rs 23,000, for all the courses under Allied Health Sciences.
