BENGALURU: Professor D P Singh, the Vice-chancellor of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is likely to become the next director of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), headquartered in Bengaluru.
Sources in the University Grants Commission (UGC) told Express, “The interview for the selection was held on Friday and D P Singh is likely to be the next NAAC director.”
Many professors, vice-chancellors and academicians from across the country had applied for the post. The UGC had shortlisted a few names and called them for one-on-one interviews before the expert committee on Friday.
