Velammal Group’s gesture
Chairman of Velammal group of educational institutions M. V. Muthuramalingam, handed over a cheque for Rs. one crore to Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in Chennai on Friday. A statement said that following an appeal from the State government to contribute to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for use in the cyclone-hit districts, the cheque was handed over to the Chief Minister. Revenue Minister R B. Udayakumar was present.
