Music director D Imman, who has a handful of projects in his kitty, including star films like Ajith’s Viswasam, Sivakarthikeyan’s Seema Raja and Karthi’s Kadaikutty Singam, says that he doesn’t succumb to pressure while composing songs.
He says, “Now, I am working on Viswasam. There is tremendous expectations from Ajith sir’s fans — every now and then, I get messages on social media, aksing about the kind of songs in the movie. Though fans, in general, expect an intro song, a fast-paced number, and so on, from their favourite star’s films, as a music composer, I know the story and situations in a film, so I can compose songs only based on the requirements. My focus would be on giving my best — as succumbing to pressure will affect your output.”
