Hyderabad: Joining the women empowerment campaign in the railways, Vijayawada division of the South Central Railway has declared its Ramavarappadu station an ‘All Women Station’ effective Saturday.

“All the day to day activities including train operations, ticketing, security and other relevant duties will be handled by women only”, said divisional railway manager R Dhananjayulu.
