Chennai: Southern Railway has introduced a smart phone-friendly version of summer train timetable, which can be accessed using a QR code scanner app.
In a statement, Southern Railway said, “... the timetable has all sector-wise summer specials proposed during April-June 2018 with detailed timings.
“The timetable can be accessed by scanning the QR code, which will open a soft copy of the timetable.
“The QR code has been put on display at major stations at the reservation counters.
“Passengers can scan the code and download the timetable into their smartphones.”
