National Board of examinations clarified the marking scheme of NEET
PG 2018. The Public notice reads as under Kind attention:
Applicant candidates of NEET- PG 2018
A. Pursuant to the declaration of NEET-PG 2018 result, queries are being received at NBE regarding whether the questions marked for review have been evaluated or not for the generation of the result.
B. The following marking scheme has been used for generating the score of every candidate:
S.No. Response Marks
1. Correct Response 4 marks
2. Incorrect Response 1 mark deducted
3. Unattempted Question Zero
C. It is hereby clarified that the questions marked for review have been evaluated as per the above scheme for generation of the score.
D. In the instructions which were part of the question paper of NEET-PG 2018 it was explicitly mentioned that the questions which have been marked for review shall be
evaluated.
