Salem Railway Division wins Railway Minister’s silver medal

The Salem Railway Division has bagged the Railway Minister’s Silver Medal for propagating Hindi among the railway staff.
Every year, Railway Board recognises the railway divisions, for propagating Hindi among staff. This year, Salem Railway Division has been selected for the recognition and has been awarded the Railway Minister’s Silver Medal. The Salem Railway Division has been selected for this award among the 68 divisions of Indian Railways. Hari Shankar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager, Salem, received the award at a function held at the Rail Bhavan in New Delhi on Thursday. The award carries a medal, a commendation certificate and a cheque.
