Hospital completes 12k free cleft lip corrective surgeries

Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute on Saturday marked the completion of 12,000 free cleft lip and palate reconstructive surgeries for underprivileged children along with the NGO, Smile Train. Actor Nassar was named the goodwill ambassador for the project. Dr Jyotsna Murthy, professor, department of plastic surgery, SRMC, said the institution also supported the children in their integration back to the society after surgery. TNN
