Govt transfers Chennai, Salem collectors

In a minor reshuffle, the state government on Thursday transferred collectors of Chennai, Salem, Ariyalur, Dindigul and Vellore districts.
An order to this effect was passed by chief secretary Girija Vaidyanathan. Salem collector Rohini R Bhajibhakare has been posted as registrar of Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University vice Seethalakshmi, who has been posted as collector of Chennai district.
Chennai collector A Shanmugasundaram has been posted as collector of Vellore district, replacing S A Raman. Raman is new Salem collector. Ariyalur collector M Vijayalakshmi and Dindigul collector T G Vinay swapped positions.
Tamil Nadu state election commission secretary T S Rajasekar has been posted as Madurai collector vice district revenue officer S Santhakumar, holding additional charge
