Puducherry:

Accuses Her Of Violating Oath Of Office
With the tussle between the Congress government led by chief minister V Narayanasamy and lt governor Kiran Bedi escalating with each passing day , Narayanasamy on Monday took to twitter to counter the charges levelled by Bedi. In a series of tweets, Narayanasamy declared that he had brought to the notice of the Prime Minister and Union home minister that Bedi was `not fit to be a lt governor'.“Now I am going to public to expose lt governor's illegal and unconstitutional activities,“ he said in a tweet accusing Bedi of using social media to reveal confidential information violating the oath of office and secrecy she undertook while assuming office as lt governor.
“She has taken oath but she is going beyond all limits. Under the Constitution and the Business Rules the elected government has got the power as soon as it assumes power.Branding bureaucrats, ministers and MLAs as corrupt is ve ry unbecoming of her. She is not helping the state in development. Every official act of the govern ment .is questioned by her. She is interfering in the day-to-day administration of the government. She is not allowing transfer of officers and is acting against the interest of the state. I talked to her several times. But she is not correcting herself,“ Narayanasamy said in a series of tweets.
He said Bedi has been abusing officers, ministers and MLAs. “Therefore her act is unbecoming of lt governor. She does not understand that Puducherry has separate identity where elected government has got all the powers,“ he said.
Narayanasamy said Bedi has been behaving in `an autocratic manner violating norms' and declared that she has become `a burden for the State government'. Stating that she approved proposal to hike the pension of the freedom fighters only after a `prolonged fight' he said she has not been allowing overall development of the state. He charged that Bedi did not allow port development and resuming of flight services in Puducherry . “She is returning all the files relating to welfare schemes,“ he said.
