Confusion prevails over medical application forms distribution

Confusion prevailed at the Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College when many candidates could not get the medical college application forms on Thursday.

The aspiring candidate and their parents from Salem and the neighbouring districts of Namakkal, Krishnagiri, Villupuram have been thronging the medical college ever since the work of distribution of application forms commenced on Tuesday. Due to shortage of the application forms, many of them could not get the same.

A large number of candidates waited at the medical college for collecting the forms on Thursday too. However, only 300 candidates managed to get the forms.
Following this, the candidates who could not get the application forms sat in front of the room where the forms were being distributed.

They demanded the college authorities to streamline the distribution forms to all.
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and pacified them. The college authorities, too, assured to distribute adequate forms by providing tokens from Friday. They also assured proper training to the candidates for filling the forms online.

Many out-station parents complained that they have been visiting the college for the past three days and were not able to get the same.
