Counselling in Sastra from June 20 to 23

More than 22,000 students from various states have registered for admissions to more than 1,800 seats available in various engineering disciplines in Sastra deemed to be university. This is 30% more than previous year.
The rank list for admission to various engineering programmes offered by Sastra were released on Friday. Sastra is using the JEE-Main Scores and Class XII aggregates together for its admission process without conducting its own entrance exams. The merit-based transparent counselling for admissions for engineering will be held between June 20 and 23, 2019. Counselling letters can be downloaded from the university website.
Students from Jammu & Kashmir, northeast & Himalayan states and Andaman will be admitted under a special category and 10% of seats is allotted for students from Trichy and Thanjavur districts respectively.
