‘Dark glasses don’t make one MGR’

Tirunelveli: "Anyone wearing a pair of black glasses cannot become MGR," said former AIADMK minister Nainar Nagendran, during his first formal interaction with media after he joined the BJP, here on Sunday.
He was criticising Stalin on his recent announcement to go on a second spell of the state-wide Namakku Naame (By Us, For Us) roadshow that he first took out in 2015. The former minister called the DMK working president's first Namakku Naame campaign a failure.
"The campaign will not bring any political change. His earlier attempt wearing black glasses, jeans and colourful shirts did not bring any change." Nagendran said that BJP alone will be able to bring the change awaited Tamil Nadu people. TNN
