Launching more such multi-functional ATMs and kiosks, the bank has said it is part of its strategy to better cater to customer needs. IOB intends to set up 704 currency recyclers by next month - which will bring its ATMS network strength to 1,104 from existing 400-plus network of ATMs.
"With this increase in the number of cash recyclers, the customers, including small business man, vendors and traders, can now deposit or dispense cash outside of banking hours," said K Swaminathan, executive director, IOB.
