MLA ‘takes sunbath’ in TN govt bus

CHENNAI: DMK legislator TRB Rajaa travelled in a Tamil Nadu government bus from Mannargudi to Pudugudi on Wednesday and found that several seats were missing and people were standing. Moreover, there were holes on the roof of the bus through which the rays of the sun were entering the vehicle and falling on the passengers, including on the MLA.
The Mannargudi MLA was mobbed by passengers who wanted better buses in their area.

The MLA alleged that despite several representations to transport authorities, no step had been taken to operate better buses.
"I have given several representations to transport authorities seeking new buses. But there is no response. If still the government does not respond, we will be forced to protest," he said.
