Rs 5L for baby girls born on Dec 31 midnight

All baby girls born in the city at the stroke of midnight on December 31 will get a cash incentive of Rs 5 lakh each, Mayor R Sampath Raj announced on Wednesday.

"Only babies born naturally at BBMP hospitals will be eligible," the mayor said at a BBMP Council meeting on Wednesday.
