BHOPAL: State government issued directives to petrol pump owners across Madhya Pradesh to provide petrol and diesel only to those two-wheeler riders who wear helmet.
A government release said that all district collectors have been asked to ensure implementation of the orders issued by food, civil supplies and consumer protection department. Order asked fuel pump owners to create awareness among two-wheeler riders by displaying banners in this regard in the premises of petrol pump.
In case of non- compliance of the order, action may be initiated against them under Essential Commodities Act, government release said.
