NEET: private firm charged by police
The
Delhi police crime branch has filed a charge sheet against Prometric
Testing Pvt. Ltd., the company hired by the National Board of
Examinations (NBE) to conduct the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test
(NEET) for postgraduate medical admissions, after uncovering an
inter-State racket that tampered with the computers used for the common
entrance test. According to the police, computers at examination centres
managed by Prometric allowed ‘solvers’ outside to select the correct
answers for questions.
