Physio held for threatening TOI journalist

Police on Thursday arrested a 43-year-old physiotherapist for creating a ruckus and attempting to attack a journalist and his wife when they went to park their two-wheeler near a restaurant at Anna Nagar.
Physiotherapist K Gautham, who was sitting in his SUV outside the restaurant, intercepted Yogesh Kabirdoss, a journalist with TOI in Chennai, and his wife and abused them. He also attempted to attack Kabirdoss. Police said Gautham of Anna Nagar who runs a clinic at R A Puram, had been booked for a similar offence in Ambattur last month. His SUV had a red board with the words “International organisation for human rights protection (under UN charter),” police said.
