MBBS study becomes costly in the State
Medical education is going to be more costly with the State Government has decided to hike the convener quota seats of private medical colleges. According to sources, 50 per cent of convenor seats are being filled up and out of the rest of the 50 per cent seats 15 per cent (NRI) quota and 35 percent under management quota.
With the latest decision, student has to shell down Rs.11 lakhs for management quota seats which was being filled up with Rs.5.5 lakh making cent per cent hike. The Government has decreased the fees in convenor quota seats which are being filled up on the basis of EAMCET ranks from Rs.60,000 to rs.10,000.
B Category seats: The 10 per cent B category quota seats were so far being filled up by the government and now it was entrusted to private managements. With the fresh decision of the government there would be two entrance test. One on the basis of EAMCET and the other EAMCET-Association of Colleges) for filling up of management quota seats.
