Deadline for MBBS admissions extended
The Centralised Admission Committee (Centac) has extended the date of submission for online application for MBBS and BDS degree courses (Union Territory of Puducherry candidates only) from July 7 to 16.
The hard copy of the applications should reach the Centac office either by post or in person on or before 5 p.m. on July 18.
List released
The Department of Health and Family Welfare has announced the list of candidates qualified through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Of the 4,196 students who appeared for the NEET-UG from Puducherry, only 1,586 students have been qualified.
Of the 394 candidates, at least 207 have qualified under the general category.
Of the 3,173 students who appeared for the examination under the OBC category, 1,237 students qualified. Under the SC and ST categories, nearly 620 and nine students respectively appeared for the examination.
Among them, 138 and five have made the cut.
