BHOPAL: Higher education department has decided to award cash incentives to government colleges who have recently received grades from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). For this purpose, department has directed colleges to send their details by June 10.
NAAC is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country. Guided by its vision to improve quality of education, NAAC primarily assesses quality of institutions of higher education that volunteer for process, through an internationally accepted methodology. NAAC gives grades A, B and C according to their status after an inspection.
