Manipal University has found pride of place inThe Week- Hansa Research Survey 2015. .
According to a press release issued by the university here, the university has been ranked first among the top non-government (private and deemed) multidisciplinary universities in India.
“Meaningful research is making the university academically stronger,” said Vice-Chancellor H. Vinod Bhat. “The next five years are going to be eventful even as Manipal University heads for silver jubilee in 2018,” he added.
In the ‘India’s Best Universities’ survey, Manipal University has been ranked 22nd among Top Universities in India, first among top non-government (private and deemed) multidisciplinary universities - south zone, and 10th among top multidisciplinary universities - south zone.
For the survery, information from 500 leading universities was collected. Experts across 20 cities were asked to nominate and rank top universities and in-depth interviews done to validate the data collected.
